Adrafinil as pre-workout?

ad

Anyone tried this and can give a trip report?

Prodrug for Modafiinil.

It's getting harder and harder to motivate myself as the years go by. If this helps, I sure ain't gonna ignore it. I really don't like that too-much-goddamn-coffee feeling I get from other pre-workouts. Won't use em.

Anyhow, I ordered some and I'll get back to y'all with a review. Just wondered if anyone else had done it.

I used them, but I doubt that you will get the motivation you are looking for. You will feel less tired and more focused, however as soon as you stop using it you can feel very tired, it's double-edged. I think you should rather look at who can give you a positive spirit, like some amino acids, or maybe the Selank that I have not tried? Do you have training goals? What is your training method, maybe it needs to be changed? Have you achieved your goals? Are your goals not too high, and you would be overtraining? Personally I took a few weeks of vacation that I did not want because I was afraid of losing muscles and finally I came back with a big energy and almost nothing lost, so that positive.

Make a 1-3 week long break and start again with full motivation. Drugs are not the solution for successful progresses!

Don’t think any supplement will give you a motivation to go to workout.
I usually get this feeling when dieting hard and at some point just start hating going to the gym due to lack of energy as calories at that point are very low.

Taking a break and reconsidering the nutrition aspects would be a wise idea from my experience.

I used a particular one . Had a bunch of "stimulating" ingredients .Thought i had to have them. Started messing with my blood presure. I wasnt sleeping at night. Started to take a half scoop at work to get through the day. Then the whole scoop before the gym wasnt really working. I felt like the guy in the 90's coke commercial. " i do coke so i can work longer so i can do more coke ". I was a mess. Like mak says i needed a break. I took a good one . A few months. then when i got back i started making a pre work out shake. 1.5 c dry oats, 2 c milk, 1/4 c peanut butter, and a scoop of vanilla protien for flavor. All in the blender. I drink it 30 minutes before my work out. Have plenty of energy . Not all jittery. Sweat my ass off, more than with the thermogenics . And i can sleep at night.

If you are losing motivation to train, maybe it is time to take a break so you can rest, recouperate and reboot. Gym should be something you look forward to and not need all this stimulants to get you through a workout.

I must admit being right in the middle of this especially hot summer isn't helping for motivational purposes at all. The constant high temperatures in the day make it very hard to build up any decent energy and power levels to hit the gym hard with - I'm finding its just more a case of maintenance and preservation if anything no matter how hard I try to better previous sessions pre summer.

Maybe so, yeah. Probably just a phase that'll go it's course and everything will go back to normal.

BUT, it's in the mail now anyway, so I guess I'll experiment none-the-less.

Take it easy. I appreciate your experience.

We all go through those periods. Sometimes the central nervous system just needs an extended break. That takes much longer to recover than our muscles do. Need to be careful dipping into the pre WO. You in a way almost become dependent on it and feel like you can't train without it and it takes more and more every day. I find it is best just to cut out all stimulants for pre workout for at least a couple weeks at a time to prevent this and if just feeling unmotivated to train to just take a break for a couple of weeks or how ever long you need to until the itch comes back to train.
