Well after a couple weeks of taking this stuff 1 it taste bad kinda like ground up flintstone vitamins and grass. As far as its effects don't see much difference than the stuff you can buy at walmart at a third of the price.Pretty disappointed but oh well I will use it til gone.

Iv used full as fuck I really lyk it actually get a good pump for me when I’m not taking gear, the pre workout Kill It wasn’t anything special. Bought their Oliver and organ protector but am I fuck taking 9 capsules a day!!

That liver protectant is BADASS though! Even at 9 caps. - Honestly, Ill take 3 of them (Since I have some leftover) before heading out for a night of drinking and partying, ZERO hangover the next day. - I feel like it allows my liver to process the alcohol better. - slightly off topic, but I liked the stuff when I was on PH's

Interesting might hav to do that next time I go out haha

You get very little considering the price you’re paying for food supplements (not just 5%) . Rather buy some solid food, can’t go wrong. Only products that I think work - multivitamins complex, omega 3, vitamin D3, creatine. The rest is a waste of money to me.

I used a couple of their items. The Real Food if they still make it was ok, but yukkkkkky tasting. Product line looks ok though!

They was a good product but indigestion for me wasn’t worth it compared to blended oats

I’ve tried their full as fuk. It’s ok I guess. Bought it based upon a kids recommendation at the gym. Shouldn’t listen to kids, when I was his age I had skin ripping pumps just from creatine. It’s over priced, but you’ll pay less for it than I did with the 27% off. Used it yesterday combined with jym preworkout and extra beet root powder bc at 500mg each neither sup has enough to make a difference, they just put it in there to say it’s in there. And I added 3 grams AKG and another 2 grams Citrulline for 6 grams total plus 6 grams Citrulline malate that’s in the jym pre, which I also won’t be buying again. I’m just using full as fuk just to use it up. Not saying it doesn’t help, but I won’t be spending my money on it again.

Well BCAAs have been proven to be completely useless beyond all reasonable doubt too many times to even question anymore, so you don’t need to worry about those. Oh, I just reread that; you already bought it. Sorry, man. At least it was all 27% off or whatever.

I could see the Real Carb + Protein supplement being useful for people using a certain something-something that I’m not going to talk about. You all know what it is. But then again, any weight gainer powder by a reputable company will not only have easier digested carbs and more protein and calories, but it will be much, much cheaper per scoop.

I looked over all their preworkout products. All appear equally worthless and over-stimmed.

The crea-ten or whatever, I just don’t see the point when you can spend literally a tiny fraction of the price and get monohydrate in bulk and yield the same damned effect.

I would have just bought some of the gear if I had money to burn during this MDW sale. As in the clothes, of course. They got some cool apparel. That’s about it. As for the supps, to be real, if Piana’s name weren’t on them, none of them would sell at those prices in a million years. Outrageous.

Not to be too nit picky but I was just reading a research paper from a study performed in 2016 that directly linked severe depression to extremely low levels of BCAAS in the body. Thereby making low levels of BCAAS an official biomarker for severe depression. Take this all with a grain of salt .

But as a bodybuilder I highly doubt this would be ever be an issue due to the cornucopia of actual food one must eat throughout the day. Not "completely useless beyond all reasonable doubt" in this particular medical application but I do agree that as far as a hard training bodybuilder BCAAS are completely unnecessary when the strict whole food diet regiment is being adhered to.

All complete proteins contain branched chain amino acids as part of their profiles by default. Like when a whey protein jug says it has so-and-so BCAAs, those aren’t added in, that just happens to be the amount of BCAAs contained within that many grams of whey protein (a lot of people fail to understand this and think they’re getting a bonus supplement or something lol; classic marketing). These findings are most likely a result of simply not getting enough total protein in a diet. It’s pretty hard to not get enough protein, too. These people are probably following rather extreme diets, or have an eating disorder, which can certainly go hand in hand with depression. I would suggest these people simply consume more bioavailable protein.

helloBrooklyn's picture

It’s good for “treating” (wink, wink) people who have convinced themselves they have leaky gut syndrome. That’s about it I think.

helloBrooklyn's picture

Maybe it does work somewhat. But dammit is it expensive. I figure I may as well just buy more gear at that point lol. Good gear makes me feel less sore ;)

House's picture

I read that about bcaa also fcked my head up cause I always had read in the past there good to drink intra workout due to helping muscle not break down. I spent alot of money on them to start reading it was all hype. I just stick with protein and gear.

If you found you got good results from them keep taking them. If I could tolerate them half as well as I use to (being so acidic) I'd still be drinking lots of them - I got incredible recovery and strength improvements from using them.

helloBrooklyn's picture

I do have a suspicion that guys on “stuff” get much, much more out of BCAAs than natties do, I’ll say that. I’d love to experiment with them, but the disposable income to use enough to be worth it just isn’t there. A healthy mix of both “bro” (personal anecdote) and science is probably ideal rather than one extreme or the other.

For example, study after study after study says there's zero net fat loss difference between fasted and non-fasted cardio. Personal experience says “bullshit.” The difference is night and day.

Even science has to be taken with a grain of salt at times
