Just started first cycle. Have a question.

I pinned for the first time Friday. I'm not doing anything crazy, just T-Cyp @ 600 for 12 weeks. I was just doing some reading on EQ for my next run, and found some info about it greatly increasing callogen synthesis when run with low test, (200-300) weekly. Now I have a beat to hell shoulder and elbow joints that get pissy every once in a while...like now, lol. Anything that might help that appeals to me greatly. My question is, as a newbie, is it safe to switch to 200 Test & 600 EQ weekly (I can get EQ tomorrow) or should I just stick with one compound?

Bro, like the guys said below, adding in any compound that is going to provide joint support on your first run is an invitation to injury. I have bursitis in my right shoulder and epicondylitis in my left elbow. I limit the range of motion on certain exercises to avoid irritating these joints but it took me a long time to be willing to feel a little pain so I know if I'm doing further damage. But, if I mask the pain I am asking for trouble.
GearofWarWhat all the others say is spot on. Additionally Equiposue needs a long time to get rolling to see it really shine. So you're ideally looking to run Eq out to a minimum of 14 weeks at a dosage of 600mg EW(preferably frontloaded at 1200mg week 1) or higher. I love Eq and all it does but if you're looking for joint support Deca is a far better choice. BUT..you also don't want to mask any underlying medical issues and do further damage with the false sense of well-being the gear is providing. The reason we preach you keep it simple to begin with is because now that you start adding compounds you start adding sides that need addressing which means more compounds such as increased use of AI's and in the case of Deca, having a dopamine agonist like Caber on-hand for prolactin sides a 19nor can induce. It gets dizzying for the novice. And rather unpleasant if you don't know your dosing protocols and the proper compounds to combat sides, or even overdoing your AI can be disastrous to an otherwise productive cycle if you crash your E2..So stuck with the test for now. Next go-round you can think if adding a compound after you've done your homework. Although honestly, another test-only cycle can still work magic. Be safe

the temporary relief provided is nice, but the problem is the masking, it makes the user believe he is healed up and starts lifting heavier weight, then he finds himself worse off than he started.

Too bad there's no way to strengthen all of the connective tissues and bursa to match the accelerated rate of strength and muscle recovery AAS provides us huh? That'd be a cool magic trick ;) Deca makes my joints feel lovely when I use it but I know I have a hellacious underlying case of bursitis in my left shoulder that it's masking. And that's dangerous stuff. Now Winny on the other hand makes my bursitis worse and my joints scream out when I use it. Not a Winny fan at all.

TronNo, one compound.. first cycle. That is your answer. It sounds like you don't even know that much about EQ and you ALWAYS want to have a lot of research done before using any compound. Take this time to start researching it. Finish this cycle with proper PCT and wait about 6 months before thinking of cycling again. At that point your research will tell you if you want to add EQ with some test next time. This is your first cycle so it's going to be amazing man. about the 4 or 5 week mark and your going to feel like a beast. You won't even notice those sore joints brother.
Just continue running the test only.. see how your body reacts to only that before adding other compounds. First cycle @ 600mg for 12 weeks should produce great gains, so long as diet and training are in check. I'm hoping you have an AI and proper pct in place?
no, adding in drugs for this reason just masks the symptoms, possible worsening of condition, joints loosen up, feel more lubed, still pushing same weights if not heavier, then pop, the false sense of healing causes injury.
