Getting back into it. Would appreciate input

Hey everyone,

looking for some advice on an upcoming cycle. Basically I want to know what your personal experiences are and what you recommend.

A little about me..29, been a gym rat since 12/13 and ran one cycle in the past (4 years ago) with test e/eq with anavar last 5 weeks and had amazing results. Still been lifting religiously but I started medical school 4 years ago and took a break from the dark side and kept things natty for a while. Been fortunate with great genetics and always been strong (benching 305+, equating 395+ since 15) but my studies and work schedule have taken a toll on my strength compared to what it was 4 years ago (445 bench, 625 squat, 650 dead @ 205). Right now Im hitting 315x4-6 bench, 405 x 3 squat on a good day, and haven't deadlifted since due to hamstring tear a year ago.

I will be finishing up the most brutal part of med school in a few months and would like to plan a cycle ahead of time when I have a good 9 months to dedicate towards both lifting and nutrition. I usually sit around 9-13% bf (have always had a 6-pack) and looking for advice on a cycle that will give me the most strength gains with only 10-15lbs weight gain. Know that diet plays a huge role but I'll have this in check. Genetically I can look at food and gain 10-15 pounds, so I dont want compounds that will make my goal more difficult for me.

My thoughts now are just running test E 500mg/wk for 12-15 with var the last 6-8 weeks, but am open to advice from those out there. Have hook-up for pharma gear and pct with plan to run HCG throughout, blast at the end and then nolva/clomid pct. Aromasin likely 12.5 eod to e3d depending on labs. Wont be doing this for at least 4-5 months but want to plan ahead.

When you finish school, get blood work. You will still have a learning curve depending on your work/education schedule six months to a year after school. Get balanced in life and listen to Makwa about routine....

You've been off a long time...interesting to see your labs and what they look like. So, the length of time you've been off equates to a first time aas user...one compound only. I'd say continue planning, lifting, while utilizing different foods and macros....from there, redefine your goals and evaluate your exercise regimen.

I think the routine you use is going to produce more lasting results in long term strength gains than running a cycle would. You would get stronger on cycle of course, but afterwards you will be basically back to where you started. Get a power lifting/strength routine set up and you should be seeing consistent strength gains, especially you can just look at food and gain 15 lbs.

As others said no reason for AAS. But if you do it don't run HCG throughout the cycle; that's a mistake will confuse your lhgh axis!

Good for you bro, I would say you don't need gear. Also I wouldn't compromise my medical licence for a little cosmetic muscle . Your not a body builder, or strength athlete that you have mentioned .

I could be wrong but I am pretty sure drug test are a frequent occurrence for anyone pursuing an M.D.

To OP- If you can gain weight so easily and are only wanting to gain 10lbs then fhere is no reason to use any AAS. Theres no sense in putting your body through a cycle to do
Achieve something you can do naturally....
