  • DHT levels on cycle help needed

  • basskiller89   •   Tue, Nov 14th, '17 12:21   •   8 replies, 117 views

Hi all,

Normal levels for DHT in men vary from roughly 5-30 mg/dl. Has anyone had experience in checking blood levels of DHT while on 500-1000mg of testosterone? I’m trying to build an idea of what to expect these next few months. I will of course be getting bloods but am curious of what to expect before hand.

Thanks in advance to anyone willing to share

Make sure you protect your prostate especially on mast with the dht .

Saw palmetto can help make that gland impenetrable.

Be careful with dht ppl forget even test converts to it.

DHT is the last puzzle piece for me

Update to my situation is I’m planning on taking .5mg Duta ED. I don’t want DHT levels to sky rocket in fear of acne, prostate and hair loss

Any recommendations in addition to above ?

Thanks for reply brother

Eat ya broccoli, water and in fact all super greens.

Everybody's response to DHT conversion is different. There is no way to give you a "what you should expect" response... precisely why you get bloods. Bloods will show you exactly how your body is responding to whatever you're taking.

Thanks for the reply. I decided to opt for not taking Dutasteride or Fina. I’m either going to go bald and shave my head or I’m not. I can see both of them slowing hair loss down but not stopping it especially with a high cycle

Ate you prone to mpb ? If you are you should try nizoral 2% shampoo and topical minoxidil , they've worked well for me with no side effects .
I started losing my hair in my early 20s and now I have a full head of hair but eventually I'll go bald and just shave my head when the time comes.

I’m not but I have noticed a slight receed in my hairline these past few years. I’ve looked into both but I don’t see either combating DHT levels on a high cycle. I can prevent 90% with Dutasteride but even that leaves DHT levels 3-4 times higher than normal. Slowing down the inevitable best case scenario. I’ll embrace a shaved head if it comes to it lol Appreciate the feedback as always brother
