If I take 300 to 400 mg testosterone cyp a week and 25-50mg proviron a day
Will I need Arimidex? Or just to be on a safe side take 0.5 mg twice a week ?

Novel idea: dont use enough test to cause estrogen problems and use a better anabolic to do the heavy lifting

PcushionHey buddy nice to see your diving in. You need to run labs to see how fast you aromatize. Anything other than that and it’s a guessing game as to how much you need. Everyone is completely different. Me for example I can run up to 400 mg of test and have zero estrogen issues. Bloodwork isn’t just to take guess work out my friend. It’s harm reduction more or less. AI’s are hard on lipid values and low estrogen is just as bad as high estrogen. You gotta find your sweet spot.
Everyone is different some people need more then others and some less. I would get blood work done. Trust me it will take away the guess work.

I would not recommend to take any AI’s until you know for sure you need them. To know for sure, you would need to do blood work and check for estrogen levels. If that’s elevated then you adjust AI’s accordingly if needed at all
Personal experience answer: proviron keeps my estro in check perfectly on test. If I add another compound, I will add an AI
Scientific answer: get bloodwork 3/4 weeks in, depending on your test ester. Your bloodwork is your body’s blueprint to make your house perfect.
There's a reason for labs and blood work. I suggest you make you decision based on real medical results!
No one give give you a flat rate answer for your question. I know guys who don't need any ai's with 500mg + a week. I'm gyno prone, so definitely need some. To be safe take your bloods consistently and keep an eye on your e2 levels...

And what I understand estrogen levels can go up after first week so I guess to be on a safe side take Arimidex ones or twice a week or if I feel side effects sensitivity take every other day
Like "daksmack" told you a few posts above, get bloods done around 4 weeks in and look what your e2 numbers are.
Most dont start taking their AI until week 3
