Recent Ment experiences?

ad

Hello, I am 45 yrs old I’ve been working out for 25 years, competing for six and cycling for about 10. My coach mentioned that he wants me to put on some size this off-season and said he was going to put me on Ment. I looked at some of the comments but they’re pretty old so I want to see if anybody had any recent experience with it?
He said I’d run With a test base (500mg) as well as 600mg of eq. Thanks in advance

Thank you for all the feedback. I’m going to avoid it and just let my coach know that I’d rather stick with the compounds that I’m familiar with. This is the reason I love this site as I’ve been a member for almost 10 years. Not many other places I can ask these questions and get a good reply based on experience.

I am quite surprised that a coach would recommend a compound like this to his clients - It's kinda like a steroid junkies compound along the same lines as M1T, Halo, Cheque drops, Superdrol etc. They work but very harshly/crudely and you can only really stay on them about 3 weeks at a time - In reality how much strength and muscle mass can you realistically gain in that time frame?! You need to be running gear that you can be on for 12 weeks to make proper solid and somewhat keep able muscle gains.

I think some coaches become disconnected with the health of the client and focus only on results. In addition I’m not sure if even they know the toxicity of the compounds or how they react to other compounds. When the goal is always adding additional size and other more traditional compounds may not be as effective as perceived, adding things like Ment may seem warranted.

What's the biggest cycle you have run for gaining size on?

Thus far - 500mg test/wk w/400mg deca and then 4 weeks dbol on 4 weeks-off then 4weeks back on. With 4iu gh 5days/wk.

The next jump would simply be 750mg Test, 600 Deca and Adrol. You will see much more out of that than doing 500 Test with Ment. Sounds like your coach doesn't have the slightest clue about steroid advice. I would get rid of him pronto and pay someone who knows what they are talking about.

Sir, we're the same age, I'd never run Ment, for what? To risk any health probs like kidney issues, high bp or depressions?
Use a mild stack like Testo/Primo or Testo/Deca, just as much as really needed!

If I would run a cycle again I'd run Test only with some Var!

I agree. Just curious because like I said my coach is pretty adamant about me doing this it’s not like I couldn’t question him but I like to be informed consumer. It’s Interesting to me to learn about other compounds as well.

Great advice!

MENT is one of those steroids that on paper seems like a decent idea, but in application it simply seem like way too much bloat and estrogenic side effects (yes it is a 19nor but I’ve read repeatedly that it has the ability to aromatize so it either does or is like anadrol where it has side effects super similar). On top of that it was developed as a male birth control so that shut down is real, so pct will suck, assuming you even do pct, I feel as though you cruise at this point

I honestly think offseasons should be a lot of test with an anabolic of choice based on prior experience, and GH. Then food, all the food.

Personally I would say if you want to do it, just try it with test for like 4 weeks, if that. EQ definitely is fine normally but due to the blood pressure issues I don’t see MENT being a good combo at all. Like it just seems really hard on your cardiovascular overall.

Very good comment! I can just agree!

Thanks for the thorough reply. I try not to question my coach but based on what a few guys at the gym had told me that it’s pretty harsh and so appreciate your opinion. I might give it a shot for the four weeks like you recommended and see how it goes.

For those that have run it were the results similar to other orals like dbol or anadrol?

I'm not sure what exactly what you mean by you don't try to question your coach. The fact that you're asking around here shows me that you're not reckless so that's a good thing. In my opinion it's healthy to question everything and then do your own research. I've seen guys get wrecked because their coaches tried to boost their reputation and clout through them.

As for the Ment, i've never tried it. On paper it's potent but it also comes with a host of side effects like way more aromatization than testorone and it's not like Ment is a game changer. To me it seems more logical to stick with the tried and true compounds with loads of info and protocols to combat side effects on them.

I've tried to give it a go a few times but after several days I just kept feeling really shitty on it and depressed, got stomach ache a lot too. Could have just been the Lab I used, always best to try a few out before calling time on a compound as all versions can feel different.
