  • Esters and Competing

  • TrenDaddy   •   Mon, Aug 12th, '19 19:03   •   17 replies, 229 views

I have been competing for almost a year and and a half now and have always used short esters. Has anyone ever ran long esters such as tren e and test e for shows? I competed in 2 shows this year and had a long prep and felt like a black hole of needles so im curious to hear if anybody has experience with long esters.

Thanks!

Let my buddy run:

-600mg test e
-400mg mast e
-200mg tren e

And Some winstrol the last 4 weeks. Did pull anything from the stack.

Won his class and came second in the overall.

Either can be done. If using long ester test then I drop it 4 weeks out and if using short ester test I drop it 2 weeks out. When test gets dropped mast, tren, primo or whatever non-aromatizing compounds gets dosed higher leading into the show. Any AI goes up in dosage as well 1-2 weeks out.

Just out of curiosity has anyone tried competing without dropping the injectables?

First of all I don’t understand dropping ALL injects since not all put on water. Like what’s the point in dropping mast for example?

Second, I understand people drop test because “that’s the way you do it and it’s always been done that way”, but those rules were invented before we had and understood the powerful ai’s At our disposal. I’d be curious if simply dropping the test to the lower end and dropping your e2 towards the lower end for a couple weeks would give a fuller look with just as little water.

I don’t know, I’m not a BB, but none of that shit makes sense to me. Even if you insist on dropping test, Running orals only when there are injects that are just as dry if not dryer doesn’t add up. I feel like those “rules” where made when the main injectables were test and Deca and we didn’t have a full grasp of AIs.

Just curious if anyone’s tried not dropping the injects and if it really makes a difference. Would love to see someone that really knows what their doing try this and see what’s up.

Like you’re gonna tell me keeping some mast in your system is gonna be the reason you didn’t place??

I don’t know shit about prep and I’m not into serious BBing, so maybe I’m out of my mind. Just going off logic is all.

I never dropped my injects. I went from long to short around 4 weeks out. My test e changed to test p never dropped my test completely and I finished my prep by adding anadrol to my current cycle. But what do I know

My first show i dropped test 2 weeks out and didnt really notice much. These past shows i didnt drop anything and just controlled my diet and water intake and was pretty darn dry.

I don’t compete but what I have heard from people that compete they run long ester and change to short ester IMO it is just depends on your prep how far are you from the show if you are 16 weeks out yes use long ester and then switch to short ester at 8 weeks out short ester and 2 weeks out cut short ester to get dry
Test is test if long or short
People who compete they use short because they can be sure after 5 days out of the system just do the math
Short ester will hold you less water it’s myth

I ran all long esters during my prep except test. I swapped that to a short ester 10 weeks out then no test 2 weeks out.

For longer preps nothing wrong with some long esters. Now I wouldn’t recommend running tren e for your whole prep, maybe starting with some milder compounds and switching them out for harsher stuff like tren 6-8 weeks out. You don’t want to be jabbing ED for 16 or more weeks it’s pointless when we have access to longer acting drugs.

What’s your current layout for your prep? And how did you juggle peaking twice?

I think it varies from person to person, but basically I would go with the shorter esters. Maybe you can work em in a little bit later in your prep so as to avoid the pain.

Shorter esters as you get about 6 weeks out. People will say it doesn’t matter but it does. I don’t care what absolutely anyone says. You’ll hold less water with shorter esters.

Does it have any thing to do with build up. Say if 500 a week cyp gets 3500 total on bloods vrs 500 a week prop will get 1600. The total amounts causing different conversion rates. I dont know either way. Just an idea popped up.?

Shorter esters are in and out your system fast which has less time to convert to estrogen I believe....

That's my thinking also

I'm not a competitive bb but I would say it all just depends on timing and knowing your esters and getting it worked out. That's where a trainer with alot of aas knowledge would come in handy. I work out with state level bb's at my gym and they run longs and shorts. Cycles are timed so that lings are ran then getting closer to comp they start shorts like tren a, mast p, etc. and cutting orals.

Same exp, from i hear u can drop injects and hgh 2 weeks out and finish on orals only.var, halo, primo tabs whatever ur running.your AI or provi and such
You can probably get away with long esters and drop them 2 weeks out to dry out proper.just my 2cents.
