Dbol, liver and kidneys
ad
What supplements does everyone take for liver and kidney support while taking an oral steroid such as Dbol? I’ve always gone with Liv52/ LiverCare. How about milk thistle, NAC or ALA? Or now I see these “cycle support” supplements on Amazon like N2Guard. Are any of those effective? Or how about non-injectable Glutathione? Thanks guys!

So I recently just started a cycle 50mg dbol daily and 300mg of test cyp a week, about 2.5 weeks in my appetite drops to nothing the next day I do normal routine get almost to gym then bam extreme heat flash and sweating I pull over hop out puke (minimal) hop bck in truck crank a.c. cool down head home.. stopped everything immediately since I have had 2 small episodes like that without the vomiting.. I'm doing somthing very wrong but dont know what help plz.. not taking liver protectors idiot I am
Don't worry so much about brand/product name and just focus on the ingredient profile. You will save yourself a lot of money and bullshit in the end. More times than not with OTC supplements the flashy, most expensive ones are rarely the best (cough 1st Phorm cough)
The very best protection for the liver is choline 500mg - inositol 500mg combo, daily dose 1or max. 2 tablets. It is the very best prevention (or treatment) for fatty and enlarged liver (ask your doctor). Buy from a reputable manufacturer. I get mine from Solgar.
Take together with FORMULA V-75 (also by Solgar on eBay) and 3-5 Fish, Flax & Borage oil softgels (Walmart).
Damaged liver can be also successfully treated with 4g of pure Methionine a day (in addition to choline-inositol). It does magic compared to even modern meds (saved my brothers liver a few years ago)
Hope this info helps. Take it from a 59-years old with plenty of personal experience.
Some might disagree but try this before you post and argue :-)
From what I've just read bud Methionine is very similar to NAC - is this correct? I've just never come across it before. I started taking the Choline recently but I noticed after several days buildup it really sabotaged my appetite that was the problem, then on research it seemed it was a common side effect of it. Its a shame as it doesn't cause any lethargy for me like NAC does.
I'm using Essentiale Forte N for liver. Its better than Silymarin,IMO.
And I'm using Fish oil,Q10,Calcium during the cycle.
Vitamin E for PCT.
Alphamale500Just curious, how much vitamin E do you take?
I'm taking 400mg/day.
Alphamale500That's a pretty large dose. Some recent research suggests that high doses of vitamin E(usually 400iu and above) can actually do more harm than good. Many studies show that high doses of vitamin E can increase the overall risk of death, increase your risk of developing prostate cancer, reduce the body's ability for blood to form clots, increases the risk of hemorrhagic stroke and other dangerous side effects.
The vitamin E you obtain from your diet is said not to be dangerous, but high doses of vitamin E in supplement form apparently are. Years ago the recommended daily allowance (RDA) for vitamin E was much higher, but now it's only 15mg(22.4iu). Of course you can probably find studies that contradict some of these findings. That's just how it is sometimes with vitamins and recommended dosages.
Personally, I prefer to take no more than 40-50iu's per day. Most research says that the risk of serious side effects increases with doses of 200iu and above. But you should do some of your own research and decide what dose is really best and safest for you to take. Below is a couple of links that have some relevant information.

Thanks alpha!! I'll take a look at these info!
Alphamale500Milk Thistle seed extract(80%silymarin), Alpha-Lipoic-Acid, N-A-C, Phosphatidylcholine, Cranberry extract, Saw Palmetto Complex. TUDCA is also said to be great for your liver also. I decided to add it to my regimen and just ordered some. These will primarily help protect and detoxify your liver and kidneys, and benefit your prostate. I use the above supplements and always have perfect liver enzyme levels. You should also focus on protecting your heart and cardiovascular system with certain vitamins and supplements, which is extremely important for those of us who like using gear!
Glutathione levels are depleted by toxins in the human body. N-A-C is a precursor to glutathione, and is recommended instead of glutathione, because oral N-A-C has a much better bioavailability rate. Therefore, taking N-A-C orally will increase glutathione in the body and especially in the liver. Glutathione, or N-A-C is said to have many different health benefits including liver detoxification and for those with fatty liver disase as well. There's actually a new sublingual form of glutathione that is supposed to have a great absorption rate.
This study has some interesting information on
N-A-C and glutathione use;

Very useful info. Appreciate!
Good info.
Alphamale500Thks bro. I've been using various vitamins and supplements since about 12,13 years old. Preventing liver damage was something that I was always concerned with, especially after watching a family member die from cirrhosis of the liver. And even just learning about all the different compounds found in nature that can heal the human body was always so interesting to me. Psychedelic chemistry is another topic I'm very interested in and had great times doing research about.
jayiskLiv 52, NAC, ALA, and starting drinking a bunch of sugar free cranberry juice.
Use to just take Liv 52 alone yr round. Was previously on a lot of medication and ran several dbol cycles a yr.
Blood work for liver always came back good.
Watched a video and Eddie Hall always mixes cranberry juice PWO. Said he started cause he read a study when he was 18. It compared weight lifters that drank water and the other half cranberry juice.
The half that drank the cranberry juice got 20 % stronger.
Came down to the antioxidants in the cranberry juice and how it helped with recovery.
I’ve also been looking at prorenal+d for kidneys too. Forgot to mention that. Haven’t used it tho but it seems a lot of kidney docs recommend it to their patients.
RustyhookerKidneys....hydrate.....cranberry juice or extract.
I take NAC in with Cranberry juice & vitamin C, and just started taking Choline Bitartrate also which they give to people already with Liver Cirrhosis & Hepatitis. Supposedly more effective than NAC which is really just to counteract paracetamol overdoses as it acts as an antioxidant towards the toxic products within the drug which damage the liver. Ultimately its the time off c17 a's which heals the liver after using them.
Rustyhooker^^^cranberry....i didnt see ya posted.
Choline and inositol is in twin labs liquid aminos. Both used to be promoted for liver and insulin natural aid. Alleged to help burn fat in the combo. At that time i used the twin labs post workout and remember cutting fast and strength boost. Nowadays its easy enough to find it as single supps
TronI start TUDCA 2 weeks prior to a cycle.. continue throughout..and continue up to 2 weeks after cycle...no liver problems..lots of cycles.
Everybody cares about liver support but nobody cares about her stomach and degistive systems , I use probiotics and nexium 20 to prevent stomach promblems during each oral cycle.
For sure I also care about my liver LIV52 , works excellent for me!
Alphamale500I agree that stomach, gut and digestive health is often overlooked. In addition to a good probiotic, preferably one that contains multiple strains and a high CFU count, adding some soluble fiber can help. Soluble fiber such as Inulin, made from Chicory root can really help your stomach, digestive system and gut health. Also, soluble fiber is great for your lipids and can help lower your LDL cholesterol and triglycerides. As an added benefit, Chicory root is very good for overall liver health.
X2 on the nexium and gut health. I’ve only used probiotics maybe I should give the enzymes a shot
Alphamale500Digestive enzymes can really be very beneficial for your body. I use a Digestive Enzymes supplement which contains multiple plant and animal based enzymes such as; Protease, Amylase, Lipase, Ox bile powder, Diastase, Papain, Cellulase, Bromelain and Betaine Hcl.
It really helps with digestion of carbs, fats, proteins and maximizing nutrient absorption. Also, these enzymes can help with breaking down and digesting other oral supplements and oral aas compounds. I would definitely give them a shot if I were you.
TUDCA! Overall i think it's the best. My liver enzymes went down on it while on cycle!
Bloody hell did they really? Never tried it before ...
Do u know if its available in the pharmacy too bud? I know only ugl products.
There is a source on here that sells pharmacy grade tudca.
It's one of those funny products isn't it mate, I'm not sure if it is ...
BUT Amazon prime sure as hell do it Lmao
That’s where I get mine. My liver values never went down while on an oral, but they never go past the 50s, and I typically stay in range. I use a gram a day while taking an oral and 500mg pretty much year round. I don’t know if they have the nutricost brand in ur amazon, but that’s the best quality at the best price I’ve found.
So while on 500mg test and an oral like dbol or drol, your ast alt values never higher than 50s? Wow. Thats great. 50s is barely elevated. Not really an issue. What doses do u run orals at?
Nothing crazy. I’ve never gone over 50mg of anything. And never over 15mg of superdrol... and that only lasted 3 days before I went back down to 10 lol
I’ve never ran drol so who knows what would happen then.
AST got into the low 60s once, but that’s the time I ran tbol for 8 weeks stupidly and it was like 62 or something like that and the end of the 8 weeks
Okay. Well even 60s isnt that bad... honeslty i think 50mg of dbol is way more effective than 50mg drol... and probly more toxic..... i think anadrol is about half as strong mg for mg as dbol.... but i seem to feel way better on 50 or even 60mg dbol than 100mg drol. And when i feel better i eat better, train better and sleep better and i get better gains then. Only thing is anadrol seems to make me hold less water subq...
I can stay a bit leaner of anadrol but if i want pure size and strengths and feel awesome..dbol it is...
You have a good grip.Along with the two supplement below I’m also a big believer in choline .
No other answers to be had. These 2 got ya.
AnonSecond on the tudca..water water water
Tudca, nac 1-2 gal of water. If no orals just water.
StevebLiv52DS too, it's dirt cheap
X2 , best supp ever! Love the Liv 52 , keeps my values always in range.
