Surprised with chest injections

ad

So I've pinned my chest about 8 or 9 times now and have been pleasantly surprised by the result. Before this, Ive pinned multiple spots, delts, glutes, quads, and the only spot I could handle was glutes. I got such bad pain in quads I could hardly walk after each pin and pretty much the same thing with my delts (these shots were also done by my girlfriend who is a medical assistant). So I've incorporates prop into my current cycle and had a bad shot in the Glute and didn't want to repin my same glute, so a buddy suggested I pin my chest. Won't lie I was pretty scared at first but I manned up and pinned 1 1/2cc about 2inches in and 2 up from my nip. It had some tne in it so if burned like a mofo but to my surprise I felt nothing the next day. Repeated again and again to reassure I wasn't crazy but out of all the shots the worst that happened was a slight tenderness to touch but no pain from normal movement.

Anyone experience similar results with pinning your chest? Any special method or things to be aware with pinning chest? Any other spots yield same results (tris, lats, calves, bis)?

I've pinned chest, biceps, triceps, calves, quads, delts and glutes. Smaller muscle groups I use an insulin syringe 29g that I insert into the muscle at an angle. I found products made with Miglyol are best for spot injections due to the low viscosity. Never pinned more than a 1/2cc in smaller muscles. Personally I think 1 1/2cc is too much for spot injections. I avoid the quads like the plague. Doesn't matter how careful you are, eventually something will go wrong.

Any recommendations for DHB?

Never pinned chest, just delts and glutes.

Thank you a ton for the replies everyone! So I made a mistake. It was actually 22 g I was pinning with, not 20 g, but I'm 100% positive each one of you are probably 20 times more knowledgable than me (hence me getting on here to learn) so with that being said I am going to pick go pick up some 27g pins tomorrow and see how those work. I really would like to prevent any scar tissue. Thanks again everyone for helping me protect myself in the long run!

Great choice man, way to be smart and listen to folks with experience +1 all the way. 27 g should be perfect for your chest, if not 25 should be your sweet spot

What siZe pin you using for chest?

On days my hands aren't very shaky I'll use a 23 g 3/4 inch. On shaky days they are shaky I'll use 20 g 1 1/2 inch and go half way in. I think either way I prefer the 20 g. Call me crazy but I notice less pip with bigger needles. You ever try it?

I draw with a 20 g 1.5" and pin with either a 25 or 27. The idea of sticking myself with a 20 g nail almost makes me nauseous! Be careful with that bro, a needle that large is almost guaranteed to cause you to have issues with scar tissue later on

I second that. Get some 25, 27 or 28 gauge and you will enjoy pinning with a much less chance of pip. I love 27g 1.25" for quads, smooth as silk. I use 28g slins on my pecs.

Awesome! Thank you! I've been trying to find something like that and now I have a few new areas to test out. How have tris, traps, and lats treated you? I'm definitely still sticking with chest till I find somewhere that works better
