I'm wearing some BEATS I bought when they very first came out. I cant they have lasted this long. Money well spent.

Everybody loves shitting on Beats, but I personally love them, I got the wireless beats studio ones, aswell as the wireless apple earbuds. I HIGHLY recommend them.

I have a jvc charge 3 thing gets pretty loud and has decent base that’s for home use. At the gym I have a pair of beats solo 3 they do sound good but I’m not a fan of wearing them

I use senheiser 598 HD closed with a fio 3 amp, best $200 I’ve spent. I picked them over bose after a couple nights researching in my free time. Got my brother in-law a set too and he hasn’t stopped smiling yet.

Bose in-ear sport headphones are amazing!

V-moda, the first gen ones are still all metal so they won’t break if you drop them. Killer sound and I’ve been sweating in mine for three years with no issues

I used all kinds of different headphones and they all either broke, a speaker stop working, e.t.c. I went on Amazon and bought a ridiculously cheap pair from china and they sound better then any of the ones I paid a lot for and they have outlasted them too.
5.99 earphones sound better then my fkn 300 beats I use at home.

What name

IrishMack's picture

She doesnt remember where she got them on amazon and her history doesnt go back. The name brand wore off too.

Ill look them up tonight, my wife bought them for me.

Powerful headphones need external amplifiers to drive them. You can’t just plug them directly into your phone.

IrishMack's picture

Thats true, thats why I have a battery powered amp I use with my headphones for my phone, and just use them straight with my Ipod.

that’s true, expensive doesn’t always mean best quality

I have a pair of the Apple buds that I bought for my iPhone X .. not impressed at all , I use the adapter that came with it so I can plug my old Apple earbuds in and it sounds much better imo.

I have wireless beats, I love them!
Used to use wired ones and was always ripping them off my ears or smashing the wires, I’ve had the beats since last Christmas and there still going strong, maybe have to charge every 3-days now used to last me a week. But all in all I like them

sunamcaxa's picture

which one do you have?

I use cheap £5 Phillips ones, they last about 6 months, good sound quality and stay in my ears fine.

However another forum I'm on rave about how bloody brilliant "Jay bird headphones" are. I believe they have a life time warranty for water damage as they claim to be sweat proof.

They do wireless also which apparently are superb.

I use the cheap ones as well and have no problem with them I would never buy wireless cause I know my dumb ass would forget to charge them and I have to have headphones when I workout keeps people from talking to me

GrowMore's picture

I agree. My work outs wouldn't count if I didn't have music to smash out weights to.

Be sure to get hardwired phones. The wireless ones have trash sound quality. I have Sennheiser HD800s but I would never wear those to train in obviously. Best sound quality I ever heard tho

sunamcaxa's picture

I was thinking about powerbeats3 or beats solo3 they r all wireless

I use ear buds don't get the ones with the plastic clip that lets you answer calls cause sweat gets in it and makes your phone start glitching and turning the volume up and down and all sorts of weird shit there

stairmaster's picture

I use the earphones from my iphone, not the best quality but the most important thing for me is that I don't hear the screaming 150lbs guys during they curl with 20's.

Jayzgainz's picture

Oh, you have one of those too? Ours is an older guy who does go hard but makes the most god awful noise while doing it.
Light weight + loud grunts=gainz

I’m glad I train in my garage. Even if it is 3 degrees outside in the morning and my hands get immediately freezer burned upon contact when I touch my bar. Love it!

Sam I Am's picture

We should post our home gyms. I also have a garage gym but only use it in the warm months. I have 11 mostly first gen nautilus machines in the garage. The basement is mostly free weights and plateloaded. Dumbbells from 5 to 80.
