Bonac was a beast....i didnt think Phil looked like Mr olympia..
I really liked Shawn Rhoden,,I think he should have been 2nd and Dexter Jackson 3rd.
LOOK OUT for big Ramy when he gets some muscle maturity and conditioning dialed in,
How about Dallas McCarver, one of the taller guys at 6,2" and still held his own size wise. Showed up in great condition as well. I really believe if he stays hungry he will be a real threat in a couple years. Any thoughts? Can see the prejudging on YouTube or his Saturday night routine.
Phil has aesthetics down to the smallest detail and it's hard to tell without being in the judge seat at pre judging. Having the condition, size and symmetry can at times allow you to be slightly wetter than the next guy and still pull a 1st. Dexter was phenomenal looking and crisp as a new $100 bill. Phil just beat him on his display of symmetry IMO. Shawn made AMAZING improvements while Dennis didn't makes any size or symetry changes from last year to now. That put him down to 4. From year to year the ability to improve can win judges over, if they see you stalemate and not bring up areas they hit you on the year before you can drop a place. They look for the consistency of your conditioning and dryness WHILE improving your physique. Look at Big Ron, never the same package. They get critiqued by the judges and told what to fix, if they do that weighs very big in placing.
Ramy will never win Olympia, yes he is very big, but his physique is too grotesque, not aesthetic. I know these days its about size but still...
I was surprised that dennis wasnt even top3, he deserved second minimum.
This thing is a business after all, i guess making someone a champion for multiple times sells better than one that wins from time to time. Its a bit like record industry, they create characters not artists, and when they have drained as much as possible they create another hero for the masses to follow
StevebPhil belongs in 3rd place, he looked no where near as good as he did in 2011. Ramy was not dry enough, and Dennis should have won.
Agreed
Phil belonged in third very interesting.
Sounds like the same old Remy he's got to nail that conditioning. Dennis just keeps getting better I'd like to see him win someday. Thaks for reply man.
NickshojRamys Egyptian, his culture is surrounded by rice. And most Egyptians, even bodybuilders begin to go through withdrawal after 24 hours without the holy carb.
The holy carb. Lol
