Storing peptides

ad

Do you, guys, agree  with the following recommendations (pound them on another forum) on storing peptides:

Freezing the peptides:

Before vials have been reconstituted (so the vials still contain the powdered peptide), you can store them in the freezer. You should only freeze and thaw the peptides once, because doing this repeatedly causes damage to the peptide. It is only necessary to freeze the peptides if you don't plan to use them within the next 18 months. Refrigeration will keep these peptides stable for one and a half years, so there is no need to freeze your peptides if you will be using them within this period.

This seems completely irrelevant anyway - If you don't plan on using them within the next 18 months then why buy them?...

I wonder how long they are on the shelf before we buy them

My first question is why would you be storing peps that long in the first place. Just buy them when you need them and use them up. I would just store them in the fridge and use them in timely manner.

nope. Asking Ryan Smith might help.

Have you got any scientific proof on this? I’d be interested if you did as someone who always freezes his peps.
