Switching from test e to test undeconate

ad

I’m currently contemplating switching from my 125 mg dose a week of test e to test undeconate. My question is if I switch to test undeconate how can I keep my levels up while it absorbs since the absorption time is so slow wouldn’t that leave me with really low test levels for a month or so until the undeconate has time to kick in?

I don't think the transition would be big deal. It should go smoothly.

While in Dubai the only TRT they offer was Test U by Bayer. 4cc vial, 250 mg/cc. Dr. insisted on injecting me herself ALL 1 GRAM, "Schedule next visit for twelve weeks we'll test your blood levels."

Well was 290 ng/dl, she upped it to every 8 weeks, then I ended up back in the US. 6 months Test U I was bloated like hell, went back on test c 100mg week and later a full cycle, lost 10 lbs of bloat. Test U is awful, if you follow the instructions on the insert.

Best way to know would to monitor blood work frequently and adjust accordingly if needed.

There is nothing wrong with making the switch to Test U from Test E and you probably wouldn’t notice the transition. There are a few things to bear in mind.

The current prescription advice and dosing protocol for prescription Test U (1000mg every 12 weeks) is not optimal. I’ve had some pretty lengthy discussions on this with Giardap and my Endo plus have fully researched this. Studies clearly show Test U peaks at around the 8 to 10 day mark (22 nmol/l or 635 ng/dl) and then decline to a low normal level after 28 days and finally by day 42 has bottomed out at 9 to 10 nmol/l (260 to 288 ng/dl). Far better in my view would be to dose 100mg every 10 to 14 days on the assumption this is Pharma Test U which uses castor oil as it’s carrier. This last point it important as the pharmakinetics is affected by the carrier oil. If it’s UGL using a standard carrier then this needs to be changed to 80mg every 7 to 10 days. For this reason I never bothered to make the switch.

I approached my doc about switching to Test U. She flat shut me down at the 3 to 4ml injections. She stated the risk for abscess and blood clots was too high. Also said it is not common in the USA. I agree with you on the prescription protocol not being optimal. My trt script states one shot per week. I pin 2x a week. That is where I feel best. My Doc thinks its unnecessary but I don't care. Sometimes how you feel can conflict with science and bloodwork.

No conflict there mate. Twice weekly injections of Test E/C is going to have you at more stable blood levels than once weekly and that’s a scientific fact and would show in bloodwork.

I agree and have seen more stable blood levels just eventually 2x weekly injections gets old

It should work ok. Undeconate was mr=eant fro slow long periods of elevating Test levels!

I recently switched temporarily, after running the transition on Steroidcalc dot com. It's a reasonably smooth transition. No big spikes or troughs.

No your test levels will spike the day after you pin the test U. It just breaks down slower. Shouldn’t need to do anything differently but talk to your doctor.

Plenty of literature using test U as hrt as well.
