What genre/artists of music do you listen to when working out?
I know there’s a lot of people from around the world on this forum so I’m excited to learn about new bands!
I’ve always liked Metallica, who the hell doesn't ...
But lately I’ve really been diggin some Motley Crue and 80’s hair metal...thanks for the input fellas.

Band called clutch been round 30 years trust me great music! Utube clutch binge and purge song! You’ll hit pr at gym with it! Listen to song and when it hits hard you’ll see lol! Best part come on mofo come on mofo come on mofo let’s throw down! Quit playing it at shows too many fights
I'm going to go out on limb and counter act everyone's one-upmanship of posting the most obnoxious, bad ass, heavy metal and punk rock groups.
Katy Perry and, the Monkeys. ...yes, I'm a believer. Hear me roar :-P
Slayer, Megadeth, Metallica, Lamb of God. Helps fuel intense workouts.
You forgot sepultura..but yes all of the above are badass bands to lift to!!
AnonIt's no secret I lift to Megadeth a lot.
I like metal or rock when I start a workout. Towards the end of a workout I can and often do switch genres.
Hell yea...how long are your workouts bro?
AnonMy workouts vary in duration. 30 mins to 2 hours.
Slipknot, Tool, Rage Against The Machine, Muse, Godsmack, Metallica, Guns and Roses for lifting among others. I like to switch it up so I don’t get burned out. Alice In Chains, Linkin Park, and others like that for cardio
Man there’s a couple slipknot, rage, and godsmack songs I need to add to my list...and sum mudvayne! Good shit
Down in a Hole ...... Feeling so small hahaha Takes ya back!
That is my favorite out of all their songs. But people that detasseled corn for me in my crew called me the rooster because it was one of the songs on a 90 min cassette tape I had that we listened to over and over while we drove around to different fields or were taking a break lol.
Any thing by Lauren daigle.
That’s my girl!
I didn't know she was a white girl for a long time . That voice is bigger than she is. What a gifted lady. And beautiful too
That’s funny...yeah she sounds great And plays guitar...also very pretty your are correct bro!!
I’ma turn sum on my blue tooth speaker and hangout in the kitchen while sipping ice tea..
That will go good after the week I’ve had
it depends what im working out tbh and my mood. either screamo/hard rock or old school rap/hip hip
Lol here is some newish hair metal that I used to listen to pretty good band
https://youtu.be/tlsKvOWNufI
Man I like that...think ima add it to my playlist...thanks bro
Ya know there was not a workout that went by where I didn't have my Metalcore on - Killswitch engage, Five Finger, Trivium, 3 Quarters Dead etc Every single lift I would get psyched up to my current favourite song but then it was really weird - as if by overnight I just wanted to lift in absolute silence. All I wanted in my mind was how I was going to attack each stage of the lift with no ounce of distraction at all. Its been like that for the past 2 years now and I can't see me changing my ways Lol Kinda sad really but I just find it better. Maybe I would be different if lifting in a gym with crap music on.
I understand that for sure!! My gym plays shitty loud music for the Zumba classes and it’s so crowded it’s chaotic...headphones drowned it out and help me to focus...I wish my old gym would open back up, it was quiet and hardly anyone was ever there...the eye candy at the new gym is nice tho
Metal is always great for the intensity.
But while my Spotify was on shuffle the offspring came on. my god. The energy that the punk riffs gave me was great.
Ima check out sum old punk rock that’s a good idea...really liked sublime back in the day
Old school rap, Metal, Hard rock, Alternative elctronic genres. I listen to loads of different stuff depending on my mood, but if i'm going for a pr it definitely needs to be hard angry music.
Hell yea I agree
Hatebreed, disturbed, lil Reese, Eminem, NLE Choppa.
Dr Dre, NWA, Eazy E, Snoop, MC Run
I like Backstreet Boys, n- sync, and 98 degrees.
That’s too heavy for me...maybe in my younger years
Celtic Frost, Morbid Tales
That’s hardcore...1984..surprised I never heard of em..reminds me of sepultura and slayer..good shit
JanaVodaHardstyle type world of Hardstyle to yt and chdck it out! I love it. Sometimes hip-hop.
Ever go for dubstep?
Only when I eat mushrooms, but haven’t worked out to it
That’s sum up-beat shit right there!! I can dig it
Lately I’ve been jamming my Leif Garrett 8 tracks..
Molinin302I always knew you were cool. Thats true style bro!
I put in some Bobby Shmurda in my headphones.
