Roelly Winklaar looked better than Phil by a mile, Roelly even won the peoples choice so everyone in the audience thought he should've won the whole thing. Phil had a big pregnant looking stomach and Roelly did not. They should start disqualifying people for that round gut and large mid section it's a joke.
Its Mr Olympia competition, not Mr abs. He smoked him in every muscle group, but rhoden was smart pointing to the crowd and judges phils gut. Im sure Heath will claim it back .
Because in my opinion, Shawn Rhodens win was almost completely political. Phil Heath beat or tied Rhoden on every pose, excluding abdominal . They gave Rhoden the win because it was necessary for the sport of bodybuilding, they had to breath new life into the sport.
yes Phil Heath had a bubble gut, yes Rhodens mid section was tight, but was his mid section the tightest at the show? No ... and yet that is why he won its a technicality at best.
I do believe he got robbed....yes his core was far from spectacular like Rhodens but come on now....Phil had him beat in all the other muscle groups and poses that didn't involve abdominals.....I was furious when they announced Rhoden the champ but oh well it is what it is.....just sucks Phil had to deal with his hernia issues while trying to tie the greats...Haney and Coleman. Thanks for posting Pale...I haven't hadthe chance to watch that interview till now.

The last guy to win that, that had a body I envied was Lee Haney...I think this new winner is a step in the right direction.
