ProtonMail issues
So beside the constant bombardment of fake emails from seemingly protonmail support that I constantly get has anyone had any other trouble with theirs? To backtrack a bit you could always tell that it's from third party or not by seeing who the email is sent from it usually says protonmail support or something like that to the effect from protonmail.com if it's really them the fake ones have a different. Com after it. But back to the issue at hand, I just tried to send email only to get a message that popped up at the bottom of the screen that says I've temporarily been banned from sending messages? No idea why that would be so and has anyone else had this happen to them now or in the past? Might be a good idea to test it out. Oh and hope all you guys had a Happy Thanksgiving with you and yours.

OK so I got a reply and can send msgs and stuff now and this is what they said.

Your account was automatically disabled by our system for sending messages to non-existing email accounts.
Please make sure that you send messages to addresses you know and you do not send spam or unsolicited messages.

Keep in mind I didn't send any msgs to any non existing emails just replies to msgs sent to me. Def a little weird. Better to 0ut this out there so everyone knows if in fact there is anything to worry about.
Sounds like you replied to a known spam account probably unknowingly so they froze your account. Thanks for updating!
Nope it was actually to a known reputable int. supplier. I figured it out bc when I replied back to them again it did the same thing, which means ProtonMail has them marked as spam or something else negative which isn't good either way
I’ve never had any issues with my proton mail account they’re the best in my opinion. If you are unhappy with your account I would google free encrypted email accounts and you’ll find a few. Also tech sites will pop up reviewing the free encrypted emails and you can read up on them and choose accordingly. Keep us posted if you figure out the problem
I do get strange messages like “undeliverable mail returned to sender,” for no apparent reason. No idea why. Protonmail does weird stuff sometimes that does make me a little uneasy. What other good encrypteds are out there?
Yeah that's exactly what I asked down bottom. Idk well see what their reply is bc unless they were reading my emails which they aren't even supposed to be able to do bc they say they can't access them then their is no reason.
Apparently I could still receive messages though I wrote them asking what was up so we'll see if I get a reply

I got the same thing. It's just an advertisement for protonmail plus, I'm not sure what the plus includes but I'm fine with the free version.

There are several out there. I also use tutonata.com. I think they all have issues from time to time.
