HUGE fake review ring busted
Below is a list of 76 user names that were without a doubt registered here solely to create reviews and votes for
ROIDBAZAAR.NET, BUY-AS.NET, LEGITGEAR.CC and BOLDER.CC.
These were manually checked and selected as fakes with help from a 3rd party spam/scam analytics service.
- 90% of users listed below voted for every source listed above.
- 100% of these users follow the register-pic-vote rinse and repeat pattern. (e.g.: voted 7 weeks ago, last seen 7 weeks ago)
- IP and ISP all reported (anywhere from 20 to 2000 IPs per user), at some point by major spam-hunting services.
- Zero to 5 friends.
- Mostly no content except replies to their own pics.
- Karma voting ring, meaning they only vote other scam "buddies" accounts.
I'm leaving these accounts and content available for one week so you can check for yourself.
Above sources are of course penalized. Votes deleted and a banner warning posted in their review pages.

Thank you for all your work on Eroids everyday, but especially for this effort. Great job. Keep it up. Takes of work to discover fraud, the truth will not always come to light. Discovery takes perseverance. Hope you keep investigating. The money I give the sources is hard fought. My trust is earned. There may be other scams afoot. Thanks for reading this.

Carlito BriganteThank you sir. Now, a doubt comes to mind... was it a good policy to delete all comments that warned about payment issues with those sources? I mean, it was literally impossible to report payment frauds cause the moderators immediately deleted the posts and took karma from us.
Comments about payment issues are not flagged if you follow procedure and protocol. For example, if the source posts an average ETA of 7 days and you go off the rails on day 8 without reaching out to the source in PM and on the SI page. Your review will be flagged.
There are somethings mods can do to help you but, you need to work with us.

Carlito BriganteI became a member a few days ago because CENSORED didn’t reply my emails. I became a member because I was looking for a way to force them to reply to me after paying them 306€ and not getting any response whatsoever. I thought that by becoming a member an denouncing their behavior in eroids, they will actually solve the matter in order not have a bad reputation online... and that’s what I did... I became a member and went straight to report the problem after carefully reading the rules... but surprisingly enough, my comment was deleted... instead, I was advised to PM CENSORED because REDACTED was very nice and helpful... and that’s what I did. True, they did reply to me after the PM and the answer they gave me is “hi, our bank account was closed so you should have your funds back soon. Contact us when you do have them back and we’ll give you new details”. Of course, when I replied to them asking if they knew exactly when the fuck I’ll have my money back, they did not answer again. So yes, I was fucked by CENSORED 306€. And you even ask me if I was one of the guys that made good fake reviews about them? Holy fuck... yes, I get stolen 306€ but Im such an asshole that I praise them.
Anyway, going back about deleting the post, today another member That complained in a comment about CENSORED got deleted too. That was before you busted the fake ring...
Btw, the moderator that deleted my posts didn’t know if I had waited 7 or 70 days. So the question about whether it was a good idea or not to delete posts denouncing sources is still unanswered. Maybe, if moderators didn’t delete those posts warning about sneaky motherfuckers, some frauds could have been stopped.
I flagged one of your comments on this sources page because it was against the rules, not more not less, I even gave u the info how to contact the source by PM for payment questions and nobody took you karma! And again your comment above is against the rules!

As you can imagine, my only worry is to get my money back and have a decent supplier for my needs. I just think that you could show more interest in people that are genuinely worried about an order, that’s all. I just feel that sources have it too easy to fuck us over if they decide to do so. Hopefully this ring busting will ring some alarms... and hopefully I get my funds back.

At what point did you contact pale or myself with details of your order in PM? Or ask us how you should proceed. You realize that as a new member your actions look like a shill sent to discredit because you went straight to the review page without taking the steps of due diligence.
People always think it's the source only that scams the customer. But, sources use fake accounts to attack each other and users scam sources as well. I or pale, nor anyone else for that matter knows who you are. There is a process. Follow it.

The only thing I searched for in this forum was help, that’s all. Forums are the only protection we have against internet fraud. Let me take this opportunity to ask you this: if I ever encounter a problem like this one I have now, do I have to contact you and send you the proofs? If so, I’ll gladly do so, because sir... my only interest is to get good products and not get fucked over.
you may not need to send proofs at first. Sometimes just letting the source know we are watching is enough. other times they have a valid excuse and we need to dig deeper. At any rate, we can coach you along.

What the hell are you on about? I mentioned 7 days shipping waiting for a package. Should someone be allowed to review you negatively because their package hasn't arrived by your estimated, or average, shipping time? Do you not want a bit of a grace period for something that is not totally under your control? How about posting in the SI page before making a negative review?
As for reviewing after 7 weeks, Yes, I do expect someone who is using a long ester to wait until at least 6 weeks before reviewing the product. Do you think that reviewing the product based on your "pretty" labels is sufficient?
