Those were confusing times bro. A young site with an explosion of resources. That was the moment Eroids made the decision to never let itself lose control to Srcs. It’s what separates us from other Sites.
And even after that, so many times they almost infiltrated and had to be fought back against. I know many of us feel like the past was the golden era of eroids and maybe in a lot of ways it was, but I also think now is a pretty great era as well. We don't have nearly the amount of drama.
At the time of this topic, EROIDS had a membership of approx 17,500. Today, EROIDS is approaching 144,000. Golden era,.... NO. Different era,..... definitely.
This was a battle of whether source reps (with name tags) would be allowed, not just nuthugger and fanboys, but compensated source Rep's. It was kind of a mile post as to the direction EROIDS would go. (Yeah, I might be over stating it, LOL). But it is part of how EROIDS got to be where it is today.
I agree. I don’t neccesarily think there was ever any golden age of eroids. There has always been good times and bad times. Srcs always are going to scam and so are members for that matter. One guru gets replaced by a new one. Memebers come and members go. The spirit of this place remains the constant. Find some quality gear with for the most part quality members. I read a lot of great info every day here so it’s not there has been a lack of quality posts.
Figure a way to get the EBC back up again and that’s the icing on the cake. ;)
You know I have tried, but now it is the issue with the prizes, namely security. Also it implicates eroids itself. If we could figure out a way to do it with crypto as the prizes we may be able to come up with a workable solution.

I came in at the crescendo of that whole deal if I recall. My first year tho I hardly ever even went into the SI's. I was always a forum junkie.
