My plan will be to go to Dublin or Belfast and take the ferry across, that will mean the first week I will be in either Dublin or Belfast with the 2nd week being on the island. And the Isle of Man TT 2019 or 2020, so race time.
Juicebox! The other post reminded me I never replied here, apologies.
Re: Isle of Mann. You probably need to book a year in advance. The claremont and regency are nice. But when I go for the races it is usually to a guesthouse and trying to get close to the action. The guesthouses are usually booked before the hotels, and some are part of a pub, so they are always the most fun. But it isnt the only thing to consider; you need to book Ferry or Flights, depending on where you are coming from. This is essential, because you can easily get the accomo lined up and have no way to get there other than swimming!!
Check the visit the Isle of Mann site, should give a reasonable guide. Then when there, get the circuit map, and plan your days so you can see start/finish and be sure to catch the jumps. There is a pub, the Raven, few nice B&B's/smaller hotels on the North west of the circuit. There is a savage jump there over a small bridge. Great views, with beer and burgers!
So are mine mate lol though i do come out of retirement every now and again when there is a big night on. Although i always end up feeling old as fxxk!! Gone are the days of Asylum and the arena.

KingsolverGotta love Dublin. Some serious talent from Dublin dominating the Dance Music Scene. With the likes of Bryan Kearney and JOC.
