Just wondering if adding DMSO to Phlojel ultra, would it help penetration? or would it mess things up?
For those wondering what these products are. They are both transdermal carriers. DMSO is a veterinarian grade and Phlojel is pharma grade with a much higher absorption rate.
I researched these a lot when transitioning from pro hormones to AAS. My main apprehension with injections was getting my wife on board. I can only tell you to read, read, read here because no matter what your apprehensions are, injections are going to give you superior results. I'm assuming you are looking to convert finaplix h and synovex. If you're looking into conversion methods the costs of the pellets has skyrocketed and I believe with your options here it is not feasible.
As to your question, do not mix DMSO in. There are a couple reasons for this. It has a much lower absorption rate than phlojel. Some of your raw material will be mixed into the DMSO so all of that material will be carried into your body at a lower rate.
It stinks horribly bad and you will emit a strange garlicky odor. Your breath and body will reek. I also don't know if you have a significant other but you can be passing chemicals into her if you have sex shortly after rubbing this crap on you. If it passes into your body it can carry into hers. If she grows nuts, I can guarantee she'll be pissed!
There are also environmental concerns, such as the type of work you do. For example, I work in the oil field and have a high exposure to chemicals. A transdermal in this type of environment is bad news.
im actually trying to make 10%DHT Cream, i have been using phlo jel, but the powder isnt dissolving into it properly. i dont think the levigating process is working properly, ive been using a mortar and pestle to try and make it fine as possible and slowly adding the phlo jel, following instructions i found online, bk.., after im finished when applying i still have some grittiness and when the phlo jel drys there are white specks every where....
would you know what i could use to get it to mix into phlo jel without having any grit.. ive tried 3 times and took more care and longer each time but ffs i cant get it to mix in properly... im was thinking dmso but i remembered what you said.. what else is there i can use to help it mix or dissolve into phlo jel? alcohol? Benzyl Al? lol
I'm not a compounding expert, but you may try dissolving powder in a small amount of 190 proof grain alcohol (Everclear). This is the base of most oral solutions. You would want to use as little as possible and trickle it in. Using more than what is necessary to begin dissolving dht may make it to watered down when added to Plojel. Also the amount if grain alcohol used will dilute your concentration which should be accounted for when figuring dosing. For example 20 ml alcohol with 1 gram dht would yield a 50 mg/ml solution. I would try adding just enough to begin dissolving dht. If needed prepare a hot water bath by boiling water in a pan, remove from heat and place your beaker with solution in hot water bath and stir. This should get rid of the grit.
For the mods on this board I truly hope giving this advice is not in violation of board rules as we aren't dealing with AAS raws. If it is, please let me know and I will delete comment. Thank you

I'd try that but id have to look into it further to really know.
What is DHT solvable in? A small amount of heated ethanol or oil perhaps then toss that into solution.. Just a guess
DMSO is nasty stuff in my opinion.
They have been discontinued and if you are lucky enough to find Fina or syno, you'll pay 5x as much as we used to. But a transdermal administration? Why? Seems obsolete. Fuck, now you got me remenising about fina converted golden god juice! The shit they make from raw just isn't the same. Maybe I have a bias because I was in love with finaplix and my trademark 160mg/ml brew ,but there is nothing like it!
I hadn't checked into them for some time so I was unaware they were discontinued. A transdermal would be good for someone hesitant to pin, but the absorption rate is "speculated" to be between 40 and 60%. That seems like an awful waste of product especially considering that after a few times you actually look forward to days that you pin.
Btw- would have loved to try some of that home cookin'
just doing research on which method i should do injection or transdermal, but im not going to take any stuff anytime soon, going to train for maybe 6months to a year
