I’ve got Nasser ElSontaboty, Anibol Lopez, Franco Santorello, and Dave Draper. I also have a cool Arnold poster but it’s unsigned. I have them all framed and hanging in my basement gym. I would like to add Frank Zane. Arnold is in the middle Ofcourse. Anibol Lopez is the smallest guy on the wall but honestly looks the best. His legs are actually really good for that era. Anyone else collect any gym stuff? I also have a couple of fairly rare old Nautilus machines but I’ll leave that for a different day.

Dominick77Franco Santoriello. Dude had a pretty solid physique when he was competing. I lived in NJ throughout my teenage years and I was working at Pathmark during the summer as a cart collector my sophomore year of highschool. One afternoon in the middle of June while I was working a short, chubby dude approaches me and asks me where I work out at. Well long story short, that short chubby dude was Franco Santoriello, he was employed at LA fitness and was doing some advertisement/promoting the gym. He carried around his pics from the "glory days" and stood outside the grocery store for hours passing out flyers. He gave me a 3 month trial pass for the gym and I ended up going there for free for a few years because I had other buddies from my school sign up and brought them all to Franco and he got commission and I got free membership lol. However, it was well known to all the gym members that he used to be a "big shot" in the bodybuilding circuit and presently known as well that he is a big time pain pill addict and was arrested in the gym because he used to break into member's lockers and steal shit. I personally saw him escorted out in brass bracelets actually.
From personal experience I can assure you they are stainless steal. LOL

I met Ronnie after his last Olympia win, me and my buddy didn’t want his autograph and he was surprised. We don’t care about that stuff I guess. It was cool to talk with him for a bit though

Yea push yourself harder than everyone else physically and mentally and basically make sure nothing else matters in your life besides your goal. Same shit Arnold said lol
Like his advice would apply to any of us. Besides, how long was the guy in a wheelchair ffs. He was a great champion, but I cannot idolize people who live self destructive lifestyles. There’s nothing glamorous or inspirational about drug abuse and major surgeries. It’s not hardcore and it’s not motivational. It’s depressing.
If you want to be a world record holder you risk the same type of injuries as Mr Coleman...
There’s the saying nothing else matters but the goal... if someone wants to do all that and has the genetics, let em. As for us let’s be safe and get at least half way there

RustyhookerLee Labrada signed his picture at a local healthfood store. Met him right after his last olympia. Had a few others too i pinned to the cork board. Til the house burned to the ground.

I have an autographed copy of KILL signed by the members of Cannibal Corpse. That’s it. Never cared about autographs.
My favorite autographed item is King Diamond Conspiracy picture disc signed by the King, himself.
We could debate. Who’s better Chris Barnes or George (corpsegrinder) haha
Tough call. I’m too young to have seen Barnes live in person but I’ve seen Corpsegrinder plenty of times and his stage presence is monstrous. His screams in tracks like “Devoured by Vermin” and “They Deserve to Die” are unforgettable. But overall, I prefer Barnes’ vocal style with Corpse, especially on Eaten Back to Life and, my favorite, The Bleeding. I don’t like him in 6 Feet Under, but his work with CC was very good. Corpsegrinder does a fine job, but he can’t make “A Skull Full of Maggots,” “Fucked With a Knife,” or “Stripped, Raped and Strangled” his own like Barnes did.

Barnes was good even with the first 6 feet under album.. I liked it. But he started this Rasta pot head thing which mellowed him out and now he sucks imo

Ive been a fan since probably 92' ish. Saw them again 2 years ago at an outside festival I brought my son to. Fucking awesome! I was 40 at the time but got right up front in the pit.

You know what they say! Autographs lead to homoism:) hahaha weird but I’m kind of with you man. Except for me it’s autographs on pics of nearly fully nude men. If it’s a baseball player or football player that kind of thing I’m good. Jay Cutler in posing trunks not so much

The Santorello and ElSontaboty are the only ones where I actually got the autograph. The others were gifts from my wife. She purchased them through the mail. I knew Santorello at one time and I was friends with Nassers sister so neither one were uncomfortable.
Nope, but I've recently put together a really nice home gym, quality equipment, and at some point I wouldn't mind doing that, sounds very cool.
We should start a home gym group. There’s some other guys that have them to. Mines gotten a little out of hand. Lol

As I was clearing space for the new punch bag yesterday I noticed how plain the walls are, autographs aren’t my thing but some physiques to aspire to seems like a good idea, also thinking about a mirror or two to keep an eye on form, just not sure where.
That's a good idea. Mine was more expensive than I first set out to spend, but good equipment lasts, and I figure like gear it's a get what you pay for kinda deal.
