We all use gear, what do we do to protect our bodies?

ad

I was at my trt anti aging physician today and he said something that hit home, question really.
I already know I use/abuse aas more than most, it's my passion and lifestyle, I've loved and been obsessed about everything about bodybuilding and training and have been that way my whole life, so he said, well as hard as you use these compounds, over the years what do you do or have put in place to counter sides and make it as safe and healthy as possible. Fuck me lol I really don't come off anymore, most my friends or colleagues at a certain level don't either, trt year round and low dose pharm growth but then an expo or the Olympia comes and I work a booth and decide to carb up or add var ,mast ,winny to lean out or get vascular.
Other than regularly donating blood and basic PCT when off, I use a high dose fish oil, take a baby aspirin, Liv 52 and a digestive enzymes pill and really like green tea for health benefits. I take a pretty complete multi vitamin and high dose d3, but really that's about it.
So I thought I should write this and see what others use, like everyday stuff to help us not die lol I hope to get some home remedy stuff or great input so we can all get ideas and pick what can help us from others feedback until we are without a doubt covering as much as we can to be safe and live long happy lives. Thanks for reading this brothers, any help is awesome. Much love and respect.

This is eroids, although you seem like a lame involved in other forums about grammar and punctuation. Maybe knitting and CrossFit, I don't know your hobbies, but please move along kiddo, since you are only trolling or wanting drama.

Geez all these responses and not a single karma point or response to my question, obviously bloodwork and time off are essential, just like to hear what kinds of preventative supplements or routines people use that could add a little edge to keeping things safer. So many forums lately that get engagement from users but no recognition to the person who wrote them, I personally always thumbs up any smart advice or feedback on mine.

"Geez all these responses and not a single karma point"

For future reference if you're looking to lose karma in a hurry this is what you say... lol.. I see below you worked it out. Just remember we don't post for karma, karma is just a bonus.

Were you making a statement? Seems to me you were asking a question.

Rambling off well known sups without any explanation as to why you're taking them is hardly new, informative, or insightful.

How about a -3? Nobody likes a beggar..

Bigpoppapropionate's picture

Brother I wasn't begging, not just even my forum but notice so much lately the same guys In forums kissing ass to other adv member comments but no one acknowledges the actual op or forum, personally if something is beneficial I give it thumbs up, but I'll take the minus 3 sir. Apologies for coming across as that.

You need to be patient. You might have been rewarded. Never, ever mention karma like that.

Armwrestlingfiend's picture

They all gave you plenty of advice are you just wanting some karma?

I think everyone who post a forum looks for advice and karma, more importantly helping others ,I feel what I brought up could help others by creating different suggestions on supps etc , when it doesn't or gets misinterpreted it's disappointing.

Really dude? Don't say punk shit like that first off, you'd never disrespect me in person and I've never spoke to you. Telling another man to check there estro is bitch shit, and I've spent a decade in a place where you're words get you fucked off. so I don't come at you like that , expect the same.maybe I wasn't clear, I was referring to supplements not time off or bloods, my estro is fine, hence why I'm where I'm at in life and look how I do, not asking for karna, just baffled at back n forth banter that isn't what I was looking for and post that seem negative .

You can't override the damaging effects of supraphysioligical doses of test or other anabolics by just taking something to counteract those effects. It will eventually catch up to you. Only thing you can do is cycle responsibly, take the proper time off and in the end no when to get out.

kibby's picture

Does taking time off for trt count as time off in your eyes Mak?

Makwa's picture

TRT is not cycling. It is replacing what you naturally would have but don't produce anymore. You don't take time off from trt. That would be like shutting down your natty production just to take time off from your natural production. Doesn't make sense. There are cases for when like trying to have a baby but that is a special circumstance and highly monitored by a professional.

shawn0712's picture

I know a couple guys that drop trt once a year, and my doc has recommended it when I brought up sides from constant crashing of lh and fsh. Sometimes I hit a point where trt feels like I came off everything. A little hcg remedies it quickly. He isn’t sold on it yet.
Thinking about it though, I personally think there would be more damage from the estro spike than there would be benefit.
And my doc is still in the 1950’s military mindset. I’m obese, regardless of body fat content, and some bullshit about BMI. Not that he’s exactly wrong....

kibby's picture

Yeh I here ya.

Just see alot of guys on 250mg "trt" looool that's just blatant Abuse and year round cyclcling.

Gives the guys that gently need it a bad rep

Think the most important thing you can do before taking vitamins, minerals etc is monitor your blood work, blood pressure etc on a regular basis and make necessary adjustments when/if needed.
Once your blood work results are as good as your picture in the mirror, think you’re safe

Goose24's picture

I understand what you're trying to say and the things you touched on are correct I would only add time on = time off. It really is important to "cycle" AAS. Just keep in the back of your mind other things can pop up that won't necessarily show up on bloods. Bloods is just another major piece of the puzzle.

dextetherdog's picture

No doubts about ‘time off’ Goose, Sam put that in the previous comment therefore I did not even have to mention that. If I had to choose however between the importance of ‘time on&off’ and blood work, think I would go for bloods first.

The most important thing I do is time on = time off..

I have read somewhere in a book that for me gives meaning to the need to cycle, it is that the body naturally seeks to return to homeostasis. I'm not a biologist and I do not know how true that is, but it seems to me that it's credible and necessary to let the body go back to normal levels rather than having it put mechanisms in place for do it for you. Well, that's what I think.

Goose24's picture

Couldn't agree more. Need to give the body a break. It's like driving a car up a mountain that never ends lol eventually the car is going to breakdown.
