+ 5 The importance of Stealth shipping when choosing a source.
After having a back n forth with a source on a recent order, I was contemplating just how important stealth tactics in the shipping process are. Long story short, I had an orals order where package was damaged in transit and the pack had to be resealed. This caused a delay in shipping process. I asked the source, whom, I respect, if he wouldnt mind taking some precaution in case of issue at postal place. His reply was that damage after shipment wasn't his fault. That kind of pissed me off as I didnt feel like he respected my anonymity enough to improve his proces for what I saw as a simple request. I have since moved on to another reliable source with stellar stealth shipping. Now when I look at source reviews I focus more on shipping and quality gear, whereas before i would put price ahead of shipping. Anyone else feel that anonymity is more important than price? Would you choose a source because they had a better shipping process. Please keep this general as I know we shouldnt discuss specific measures for anonymity, but I have adopted a new philosophy that a source who invests in anonymity has my business. Guys. If im off base here do let me know.

This should not be overlooked in this conversation. You should never allow a source to ship anything requiring a signature. This way you know that if you are asked to sign for a package you know what the deal is. If you are expecting to sign...you just never know.
I never realized how important stealth was till recently, i think im gonna spend the extra money now rather than bargain shopping lol.

Yeah I have mixed emotions about the topic. I like a good bargain but I like quality also. Sometimes you can get both.
Now I am just tired of getting a P.O. box and they all have cameras anyway so what are we to do.
Never had a bad experience with my sources but I guess I would agree with you, I expect everything to be smooth and straight forward for the money I am paying. Also if the source is interested in improving their service and keeping customers, they would take your case seriously and would reconsider the packaging and shipping process

Testgod4lifeBe honest ill admit that I never really focused on it as much as i do now since this incident. You assume the source will do what it can to protect its customer based but when comes down to it your just another sale and their main goal is getting your cash. Now I look at shipping with new found respect and wont take anymore chances.
Screw price. I buy what I buy cuz I know its good and consistent. I pay top dollar and really don't care. If I get a discount, great thanks! If I get in on a promo, coupon or freebie, sweet thanks!!
Where does my stuff come from? VERY important as I know what is a sketchy ride in on customs and what is not. I tend to pay for speedy courier shipping if coming from a shady spot or if its fragile gear like growth. Other than that I tend to try and find sources domestic or like you are looking for...details about shipping. I specifically ask(source in PM) for details on country of origin and ETA etc etc....I can get pretty demanding, but hey its for MY safety. You think anyone on here but you really cares for your safety?? I mean REALLY cares? Who really cares is YOU, so protect yourself..you are NOT off base at all IMO man

Testgod4lifeExactly. Thats way I see it. I take a lot of measures to protect myself. Even making sure the pack is spouse proof. Ill check country now with all the unrest in middle east. I've had sources offer to go extra mile on a pack for a few extra bucks and I jumped on it. I know they dont give 2 ships about me, but they do care about their money, and they know repeat customers are usually bank.
This is more important now than ever. You see more involvement by LE for relatively small orders. So shipping should come first as far as importance to customer and supplier.
Price means as much as a hill of beans to me. Just get it to me safely and discretely.
Testgod4lifeUnfortunately there still is a population, mainly younger inexperienced guys that only care about price. My view is: "If you have to worry about price, then wait until you dont" when your dealing with something that can eff up what you worked so hard for quality comes first.
Playing devils advocate I would say Anonymity is important but how anonymous can a piece of mail be? It's a box of whatever size and in all fairness if it gets damaged during shipping I can't see how anonymity would have prevented it. As far as anonymity over price goes, I would pay $50 more on the $100 if I could get a hand to hand transaction, but at the moment I cannot get that so I chose to stay in country and pay the higher prices.
Testgod4lifeIn this case the source had it in original packaging and didnt wrap it in anything so whoever fixed envelope could see exactly what it was. I just asked source to wrap in something so wasnt as identifiable.
It’s getting tighter so I think it’s important. We should really rate this one on the reviews and not just hit all 5s...

I tried a different souce for my nordi pens once to save a little money. Once is all it took I got the ole customs greeting card and been domestic since. I dont see why some of the euro trash out there does not give one fuck what happens to your shit.

Invest a little in shipping and watch your customer base grow more than making up for the costs of additional measures. I would pay more for a product knowing that I dont have to worry about what it looks like when it arrives.
Especially if they have a reship policy!

If a source doesn't care about his customers anonymity he can fuck right off . We're sending them or hard earned money and with some sources paying outrageous shipping fees the least they can do is pack your order properly so nothing breaks and is as anonymous as possible etc.

A few sources here ship very bad and others damn good, stealth and safe for the same price!
This is also a reason why I like promos. When I see they pack great I order maybe there if I see the packaging is shit, I'd never order from this source also when products r good!

Yeah true mate , promos are good to see what packaging is like , if its bad I wouldn't order from that source in the future , too risky . Packaging should always be top notch because we're the ones taking the risk because if our package gets stopped and its a big order we're fucked but that package doesn't have the sources return address so he won't get in trouble for it , it'll be us . Depends on what country we live in because some countries are more strict than others .
