It is suppressive.
It can help with certain side effects in certain cyles/ drugs.
Look at its structure.

Androgenic.
Dht.
No estrogenic activity.
No pr activity.
Very strong shbg affinity.

So being androgenic- if your cycle is anabolic it balances out dips.

Dht- prostate stimulation.

No estro or pr and being dht does keep fluid retention down.

Shbg affinity, high keeps libido up so less sexual sides- limp dick.

It increases free test by shuttling endogenous test away from shbg and therefore increases total free testosterone.
Unfortunatley it is still fucking up you lh shutting you down at the same time albeit slowly.

It depends on the individual and the cycle obviously.
If its a stock standard 12 week test only cycle @500 or something moderate might get away with it if proper pct is followed.

In bigger multi drug cycles dont look at it as a side effect supresser only use if its suited or need to specific cycle goals.

Its not an ai.

I always said it was like the little oral brother of mast.
Its reputatation is actually a tad dangerous to the point people think its a health benefit to take.
Its not.
Its a steroid and it fucks you up like they all do if not used correctly.
Prostate and breathing issues usually most reported sides.
Its not brutal on the liver like anadrol etc because its active as it is and doesnt need to go through the extra liver pass but its still tablets your liver needs to process everyday and it will stress it out.

Anyway use an ai as an ai.
Serm as serm.
Ancillarie as ancillarie.
And steroids as steroids.

I just got bloods back after running test 400 mg weekly and proviron 25 mg twice a day and my e2 numbers were right where I want them but my cholesterol on the other hand were awful. When I first got back into gear almost 3 years ago my BF was a lot higher i Don’t think proviron would have been sufficient to use as my sole Form of estro control like I just did. My AI dosages were completely different after dropping body fat so really bloods are the only way to tell.

I would not rely on provi on it’s own, don’t think it’s a wise idea

I've ran provi with several test only cycles, It does help keep things in check, I was noticeably dryer with prov than with out.

But I would not rely on it alone, not at all.

Mast definitely reduces my needs for an AI assuming I'm not running huge Test doses! I never used Provi for it but I imagine it might have some potential. Mast overall is a great way to lower E2 and get that hard grainy look!

As Rusty said it depends on your body type. I can run 100mg provi and it doesn't lower my E2, same for Mast. when I ran 100mgs daily I had nearly the same E2 amount as before.

My opinion - both substances don't lower the E2 significant, but bloods will show u all
