+ 1 Getting back on trt, can I use test past expiration date?
Haven't posted in a LONG time. Had to stop lifting and working out all together due to developing POTS. if you aren't sure what it is hit the Google but here is the cliff notes: POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, Postural Tachycardia). Basically your autonomic nervous system takes a crap and you can't control fight or flight and all kinds of other shit and your heart rate goes crazy every time you stand or change posture and blood pressure drops too. Tried several different meds and finally got on beta blocker that works and got things somewhat under control.
Anyway I was on trt for a year and came off for 4 months to have one last child. Thanks to clomid my sperm count went from 0 to 70 million and thank God we conceived and the wife is 14 weeks pregnant. Went back to Dr to get back on trt and got a script but they won't go above 150 mg a week for trt and I'm better around 200 mg ew. Long story short, I have some CENSORED labs test cyp that expired June of last year so I wanted opinions on if I could still use it?

Quick answer is yes.
I used expired oils before, really don’t think they go bad that quick. Worst come to the worst, it may lose some strength a bit, if it was 200mg/ml conectration may drop slightly, that’s all really
Alphamale500That's likely true for the most part. Expired gear may likely just lose some of it's potency with time, especially if it's been sealed, stored at correct temperature, not exposed to light and is not that far past the expiration date.
But if you're going to use gear that's past its expiration date, it would be a good idea to squeeze a few drops of oil out while loading your pin and smell the oil before using it. If it has any type of rancid/rotten smell to it, then toss it because it has gone bad!
If it's from a reputable src. Liquid appears clear with no floaters. Not exposed to high temps and a non-punctured vial I'd pin it.

Yeah I've read these articles before and they do make sense. It's crystal clear, just as the day I got it years ago. It's always been stored in a box under the bathroom sink. If it was pharma grade I would not question it. I did get it from one of the top 10 sources on here. I believe there were number one for a long time.
Alphamale500First I'd like to congratulate you on your wife's pregnancy! With the POTS and the symptoms you were describing, maybe sticking with your trt dose of 150mg is the highest you should go? It's not like your doctor only wants to give you some shitty gel or something. I know everybody's different, but 150mg of test/week is a good dose. What kind of total test level does 150mg bring you to anyhow??
Thanks. And I think that's the route I am going to go. And we're having another baby girl. That's what I make :( and as long as she is healthy that's all I care about. Maybe if I can get back into working out I'll do a mini blast of 400 mg ew and see how it goes.

Oh, and what kind of Clomid protocol did you take to get your sperm count up to 70 million? Just curious for myself.

When I was at 160 ew I was in the 700's and as far as the clomid goes, the fertility Dr put me on 25 mg Ed for 3 months. Worked like a miracle for me.
Alphamale500Clomid and Hcg are really miracle meds right? Have you ever tried Hcg with your doctor? I used Clomid also with my endo and it worked great for increasing my testosterone levels, before being put on trt. At the time I wasn't too concerned with my sperm count because I wasn't yet trying to have kids, but I'm sure it had a good effect on my sperm count as well.
So in 3 months you went from 0 sperm count to 70 million? That really is fuckn amazing! If I'm not mistaken, a 70 million sperm count is in the average good count range right? Good for you bro!
700's total test is a good level, especially for guys our age. But I do get where you're coming from when you want your test levels to be in the high normal range. I feel you bro. Sex drive and everything is so much.better.
Alphamale500If your mind's made up and you're gonna go to 200mg no matter what, than I would suggest getting a brand new vial. I mean they're cheap enough, and you don't need any further problems in your situation. It's better to be safe. That's how I see it anyhow. I wish you the best with everything! You hoping for a girl or boy? Well, as long as he/she is healthy, right?
I would throw it out and buy a new vial of test from a reputable source!

Thanks everyone. And yes you are correct, test is cheap and I'm being a cheap bastard, lol. I'll just toss it out. I have several other bottles of test as well that are not expired from other companies. Now whether or not they are legit is the question. I Def got them on here from top sources a year or so ago. I guess I can't say the brands but one is made in India and comes in single viles and starts with a BM. I have tons of these Guys.
And yeah I'm going back in 6 months for bloods. Hopefully I can start working out again soon. And all the docs here are absolute morons when it comes to test. One wanted to give me a 200 mg shot every month!!!!!!! And another one wanted to do 200 mg every 2 weeks. My previous doc retired so I went to his replacement (which is 45 minutes from where I live) but finally got them to semi listen to me. I was on trt for well over a year with regular bloods and at 160 mg ew my test levels were in the 700's went to 200 mg on my own and was in the 900's and much better. Originally they tried to start me at 100 mg ew and I was barely above 300. One even argued that it's impossible for testosterone to stop sperm production. I told him obviously he's wrong because it put my sperm count to zero. And clomid put me at 70 million.
First, i feel your pain with docs not knowing what the hell they are doing when it comes to hormones. I worked with my trt doc for 2 years trying to reboot before finally getting on TRT. By the end of the 2 years he started to realize that i semi knew what i was talking about and gave me the oil (pellets werent covered under insurance) and let me do injections at home. A long drive every few months is worth it if the doc is good!
Pin as frequently as possible, i found that has helped when im on my cruise dose. Keeps levels smooth instead of rollercoaster, less crashes and estro spikes. E3d has been my go too schedule.
Since you have been off for a while, maybe stick with the dose they prescribed until you get bloods and see where you are at. Any test right now is probably better than the no test you have had in your system recently.

Thanks pickle, I appreciate it. And I think I'm going to take everyone's advice and keep it low and slow for now and stay around 150 mg ew and hopefully start working out again next week. Because of my condition I have to take it super slow for working out. Like start off riding an exercise bike for 3 minutes a day and then 5 the next week and work up to 30 minutes or so. Then if all is well I should be able to start some light resistance training. I'll keep everyone posted. Since I've had to stop working out and been off trt I've gone from 310 at my heaviest to 245 right now with a belly :( my average weight was 2 75 ish.
You're pushing for too much too soon. Let the doc do his thing, after 6 months retest and argue you still don't feel at your peak like last time. Then, if the answer is "unjustifiably" no, take this route.
Odds are the gear is still good and will still be in 6 months.

Ugl labs are under dosed! If you don't have usp watson, theres no way to know for certain what your getting. My trt dose by an endo was 80. If you aim to use ugl expired gear... I would use a ml. Get bloods or your shooting in tbe dark. With 1ml you might be high. Rather that then be low.be cognizant of long term risks.
I remember when someone told me ugl labs are underdosed ...right after i had absolutely overdose ugl testosterone so its not the rule they have to be underdosed...test is cheap.But as you said only bloods will tell.
Correct, I've seen supposed lab results posted for some ug labs and one was 266 mg instead of 250.
Agreed - there are a few UGL's out there who will still happily sell you a vial of prop with 50% hormone in it BUT there are also currently some awesome labs producing some of the best test prop & enanthate I've ever had. You just have to know who are currently the guys for it...
That's the problem with ug labs. You just don't know half the time. In The past I've tried several ug labs and most of them were gtg. I think now though I'll just stick to pharma labs.
