Hi guys. Gett3 ready for a bench meet in May. 61 yr old male here. This will be my 10th contest btw. Been running 500mg of test, 2 pins a week. Just started 20mg D-ball a day for the strength aspect (will ramp that up to 30mg next week) with only 4 weeks left. Was using Aromosin but felt I was crushing my E levals (lethargic, no sex drive, etc) I felt adex would be a better choice.. Been dosing.. 05 eod for 3 days now. My 6 cycle in 10 yrs. Just got blood work back. Everything is spot on. RBC 5.8, test 1500mg (high as lab Corp goes) estrogen 30. All other markers are good as well. So damn near perfect run. Eating is lacking but I compete in 181 class. So not much worry there. My question after all that bullshit is. I'd like to get that E level down a bit more. Continue with the Adex at that dose? . Or up to 1mg eod for a week or two? Any feedback is welcome and thanks for reading.

Thank you all for your input. As always with these "supplements" There is a lot of diversity amongst our systems. Quite honesty my biggest concern was the bedroom. I only need a 260 to win the meet. (60 yr old benchers don't usually show up in droves at the meets) and I hit a easy 275lbs last week. I was having some sexual side effects that I am DEFINITELY not used to on that much test. I did up it to 1mg eod and smashed mama for 2 solid hours. (never lie about how much you lift. Or how much you get laid. Bad Juju) lol. That being said I will error on the side of caution and go back to half eod. Like you guys mentioned. 30 is pretty damn good in this game. I thank all you brothers in steel for your advice. Hey pal - Nice one for competing in a bench meet at 61, some great drive there! With only 4 weeks left to go and basically in your peaking period my advice is definately not to increase the Adex to 1mg EOD. You are going to drop a tonne of water from your joints and muscle and in the process a lot of strength. Trust me I've personally done this myself - I was PR'ing EOD a year ago and as soon as I increased the adex I was piss**g water for the next few days and my numbers disappeared overnight. As a reference I run a lot more test, NPP & Dbol than you are doing and I find .5mg every third day to be the best dose for strength whilst keeping oestrogen under control. Good Luck mate! +
Alphamale500Personally for me, I prefer heart and cardiovascular health to a lil bit of extra strength! Extra strength I can get from the gear I'm using without putting extra, unnecessary stress on my body and organs!
Imo, if preventable, I can't see any reason for allowing your estrogen levels to get out of range! I always try to run gear as responsibly and safely as I possibly can.
E2 30 is a good value, for me it would even be a too low number! With Aro it's very hard to crash your E2, only possible with dosages above 25mgs / day. I'd use no AI ! My E2 is 86 and I feel fine.
Alphamale500Your e2 is 86?? With 40 being the highest end of normal, yours is more than double that! I respect you and I'm not trying to challenge your knowledge or anything. But bro, you may feel fine but inside your body there can be some very bad shit going on that you can't feel or see.
Especially within your heart and cardiovascular system. With a high estro level you're putting yourself at risk for developing heart disease, heart attack, blood clots, atherosclerosis, stroke, thyroid issues, prostate cancer, infertility, and not to mention gynecomastia.
Of course you're a grown man and you're gonna do what you want, but if I were you I'd really consider using some form of A.I. asap!
Lowering it any more and you’re sacrificing strength and gains bro. You need estrogen and having low estrogen will give you almost identical sides as you were getting. Lethargy, low sex drive along with crunchy achy joints.
Alphamale500I totally agree with you about the sides of low estrogen. But he's talking about lowering it just a lil bit to keep his levels well within the normal range, not crashing it.
Agree with the fact that lowering estrogen significantly may have an effect on your strengths performance which is the goal I assume

Alphamale500An e2 level of 30 is almost a perfect range. But I hear what your saying about lowering your estrogen level. I also like to have my e2 level exactly within range, and not at the very high end of normal, as even slightly high e2 levels can cause unwanted cardiovascular sides. Low 20's is the optimal range where I prefer to keep my e2 level. And since you're gonna increase your dbol dose to 30mg/day, I think it would be a wise choice to raise your your adex dose a lil bit to keep you well within the normal range and not at the high end.
Imo, since you're so close to having an optimal e2 level, maybe you can just increase your adex dose to 0.75mg eod instead of doubling your dose to 1mg eod. Then I would keep it there until you see your next bloodwork results. Of course this is just my personal opinion and you should rely on your own knowledge and research to make your final decision.
Also, Makwa below has a good point about extra strength with a bit more estro. Depends on what's most important to you and what you find best.
Why do want to lower your estro more? That is pretty much a perfect level. I would actually try to raise it a bit if anything but not lower it. A tad more estro should help in the strength department.
