I remember way back in the day when the EBCs were taking place.. What ever happened to them? Will they ever happen again? I thought everyone enjoyed them, there were many competitors.. Just curious

Yea, the main issue is the prizes. I get a minute I will go back in mod forum and see if I can refresh my memory
The idea of having one with a crypto payout is a possibility. But even then there are a couple snafu's that we would have to intentionally say one thing and do another with. Like Greg said previously, we could say we are giving out a first prize of 1,000.00 in Gold's gym membership as first prize, when it is actually crypto. We won't actually even specify which crypto. But anyway, I will post to BFG again to see if he is more warm to the idea this year. It was September of 2017 the last time we discussed it

He's chimed in on it a lot since his return. But it all sounds unlikely. Mainly issues with judging and distribution of prizes. Also trying to keep this place away from any threat of being involved in distribution of stuff

From what I’ve gathered it was quite the undertaking to put on and judge. Then collecting and distributing prizes, it’s like a full time job for the guys running it. If I’m not mistaken Carlos was a huge contributor for making them happen but I don’t see it happening in the future. I’d love to be proven wrong though!

Nah man... it's more then that, it's honestly something special and great for the community. It also brings everyone together no matter your "body type" because it pushes everyone to meet their goals.
I believe this too, was great to bring everyone together
