customs letter notification
ad
So I technically didn't receive a customs letter, but I did receive an orange notice slip saying they tried to deliver the letter, but were unsuccessful. The sender of the letter is US customs, so I know what that letter is most likely for. Anyways, the slip says I can pick the letter up at the post office or reschedule a delivery. I am suspicious of going in person to get it as I don't want to get in trouble. I know of people getting those letters in the mail but I also wonder why they couldn't just leave the letter in my mailbox? My source said they will do a reship if I show them the letter.
Has anyone experienced anything like this before and would it be safe to go get the letter???

I wouldn't bother; its not worth the risk!
Dave_61Wow, I just seen the original date on this post, but it was on top of the recent post list, and I already wrote all this, so what the hell!
Dave_61I've personally received 3 of those letters in the last year, mailed from U.S. Customs and Border Protection. In each case, I received the letter along with the regular mail and the letters were never sent as a certified letter requiring a signature, which it sounds as though that how yours was sent. Or any other way than regular mail.
If I were you, I would just ignore the slips they leave, and not reschedule for them to re-deliver the letter, and certainly do not go in person to pick up the letter. It sounds as though they are sending your letter as a certified letter requiring a signature, and I've personally never heard of those letters being sent in any way other than through the regular mail, which makes your situation sound suspicious! Your best bet in my opinion is to just ignore any slips you receive to schedule a pick up for the letter. Even if you were to receive the letter through the regular mail, you should always just ignore the letter anyway.
Something just doesn't sound right. They may be trying to put together a further investigation, and want to know if the name on the package and letter is the real name of the person who was trying to receive the package, or who knows what they may be up to! Your best bet is to just ignore the notice slips, and also just ignore the letter if you eventually get it through the regular mail.
Regarding the re-shipment from yoyr source, you should be able to tell them to just look up the tracking number, so they can see it has been in customs, which is what it would likely show. The worst case scenario should be thay they may want to wait a certain amount of time, so they know for sure that the package was really confiscated. Obviously, if the tracking number shows that your package has been sitting in customs for a month or more, then they should definitely be aware that your package has been confiscated. If they don't understand that, then I certainly wouldn't consider them to be a reputable source and would never order from then again!
Can I ask, how much was in the package? Was it a large enough shipment to where it would give customs the idea that you are possibly involved in trafficking the products? Anyway, good luck with everything, and take my advice and don't go down to the post office and pick up your letter, or sign the slip for re-delivery.
Go pick ot up if they wanted to get tou they would have knocked and invited themselves in your good brother no way they leave a letter to then arrest you when ypu come to see them if you gobget it eother you get your stuff or a speech about how bad and dangerous onlone pharm is...ID GO PICK UP MY STUFF
if it's an illegal substance you have to have the DEA's consent to pick it up
ClassyChassisScan the orange notice slip and email it to your source and see if they will accept that. Explain that you don't want to have to sign for any damn letter. If that doesn't work and all they want you to sign for is the letter maybe I would, maybe I wouldn't, depending upon how much I would lose from eating the order. Obviously don't sign for some pack that you know nothing about. Can't be too careful about enemies trying to send you shit and set you up.
They can't arrest you for signing for a letter. And you know nothing about anything else. Just be damned sure that it's a letter you're signing for. And you're never going to use that addy again so.... I'd email a scan of the orange notice to the source for starters. And refuse the pack if offered. Didn't order it, don't want it. It can be scary but the burden of proof is on them, so just don't give them any.
funny you say that mate, you cant be to carefull, I had this guy rip me off not for gear but other bits and peices, anyway he ended up ripping me off!!! so I abused him through email, hes like fuck you im going to send you hard shit in the post-he already had my address- boom 4 seizure letters for weapons over the next 3 months!!!
I've had certified letters come and a slip left. I knew something was wrong because I had already received a seizure letter. They were very adamant about me getting to the XX to pick it up. Obviously I didn't go. A week later, guess who comes knocking? They hand delivered it again and made sure someone got it. Luckily it wasn't me who signed and I just ripped the damn thing up. They pretty much just tell you how dangerous it is ordering medicine online yada yada. But in your case it may very well be your shit. They forget to leave slips all the time. If you know you stuff should be there ,pick it up. If you're that worried about it, chalk it up and forget it.
angusIt's a letter! Why the fuck would you even want it? You don't even have any idea why the us customs would send you a letter, right? Must be some confusion. Damn government anyway, always screwing things up.
i dont know about customs letters saying pick up your shit, but i get the usps missed delivery slips all the time and pick up my goods from the post office
Let it go as a loss and part of the game we play. I NEVER heard of any postal worker hand delivering a customs letter or having the person come down and pick it up personally. Im assuming it was a decent sized order? I know it sucks but I would let it go and use a different addy for a while. Just my 2 cents bro.
Greekmuscle1Really I've never seen a such thing before usually the orange letter is a pick up slip at post office but if it said tried to deliver seizure letter which I've never seen dont bother
They usually only send those out when they are planning on making an arrest. I have a cousin who works as a postal inspector and that's what he told me. You might consider packing your shit and moving to Mexico for a while and laying low. They comin fo yo ass! Run Forrest run!
Ok, im just shitting you. I sure as hell wouldn't pick it up though.
BigBmajI had a cousin who was met at the post office by the Feds. All for one kilo of Chinese ketamine. It wasn't pretty.
All for one kilo of ketamine lol that shit is serious and a lot of people who use it are never the same after. It fucks up your brain.
BigBmajIt really seemed to help mine out. I was taking about 10 grams a day for awhile there. Don't even know how I graduated college, I think I was high enough to make it all work. Sometimes when your biggest enemy is yourself, taking yourself out of the equation makes it all work smooth. Life seems to really flow nicely when you are under anesthesia for 17 hours a day.
I think I did learn a few things while using it. I can't remember much but I do remember having my eyes opened to a few things. Such is always the story using hallucinogens and anesthetics.
"Ahhh fucc look... Linda Just K holed! "
Said to me by random guy once he let me know my "date" had just snorted K in the bathroom!
ahhhhh. I was like wtf do I do with this bitch now in a catatonic state IN VIP!
LOL
I know k is relative safe so I just walked away for a bit till she came back!
Then woke her up with the real deal MDMA and put her ass into ZOMBIE ZONE!
Haha crazy what you do in college!
So much learning !

xub3rn00dlexJust write off the loss and let the post office keep trying to deliver it until they grow tired and send it back
I've received a letter in the past and they basically tell you what was discovered and why it's illegal. They then ask if you wish to appeal, which of course you don't, so I just left it alone, at the advice of someone whose delt with letter before. In my opinion, you're not going to want to correspond with customs, so the letter can stay at the post office unless they attempt another delivery to you.
I sure as fuck wouldn't go and pick anything up. I'd just ignore it like nothing ever happened and hope for the best.
I wouldnt trust that. Never got a letter myself but my bro ordered some weed seeds from Amsterdam and he got a letter in the mail along with the pack the seeds had come in, empty of course. He didnt have to sign for the letter or anything like that, sounds mad suspicious to me.
I got two letters DELIVERED. ( two different addys) No way in fuk id show up to get anything. Just my .02
