Blood Work- Has anyone used privatemedlabs? I have a question.
I am trying to order for blood work and I have a question in regards to which test I should order ( narrowed down to 3 tests). If any vets, mods or experienced previous users of this site have any info in regards to Pre Cycle testing thru Privatemeslabs.com it would be much appreciated.
This is where Im at-
Choice #1
is a female hormone panel that consists of
-Estradiol serum
-FSH
-LH
-Test serum (total only)
-CBC and CMP (includes eGFR)

* If total testosterone results are expected to be >1500 it is best that the F&T Testosterone LC/ MS-MS version of this panel be ordered.
Choice #2
is a male hormone panel that consists of
-Lipid profile
- CBC
-IGF-I
-CMP
- Testosterone Free
-Total testosterone PSA
-Thyroid profile with TSH

* same as above. Any result over 1500 will be capped otherwise.

is a unisex hormone panel that consists of
-Lipid profile
-CBC
-IGF-1
-CMP ( includes eGFR)
-Testosterone free with Total Test LC/MS-MS
-Thyroid profile with TSH
You can call this a money vs needs issue even though the money is not an issue, but Im also not one to waste money for no reason. Other than understanding what each category actually is I am uneducated here and am asking to learn what/why the differences in the tests are and why I need to run certain tests at certain times. I can see the obvious differences but if someone can someone school me here, pros/cons whatever it would be greatly appreciated.

I have not recently had a Lipid panel, do you still think #1 is the right choice?
My bad bro .. if you haven’t had a lipid profile done then yes you should get 2 .. but just be aware if you run blood work on cycle MAKE SURE you get one that doesn’t cap your test value at 1500

whats the best for post cycle to check if we good to blast?
If you are only 32 years old I would recommend against blasting. Run one cycle a year and you will be good.
i wish i just dont think its safe, i want to have kids end of next year , i have to check to see if levels are good to go to blast for my prep in the beggining of next year....whats the best choice ?
For pre-cycle number 1 is good. Unless you have not had a lipid panel done in awhile then just spring for the god one. It also is nice to see your free test as well.
