My theory on ddos attacks

Ok Bros this is my theory on the ddos attacks. When we start getting stupid forum post like about lawn mowing that I read today and the last couple random post is when we get fucked out of our site for a day or two I've not been a member for long but have used this site for a long while and each time we get these random adds we get cut off till it's fixed so let's just not respond to any post that are add post and maybe it won't happen fingers crossed. Anyone think the same way or am I just crazy?

Coming from a information systems security graduate I can tell you this. We can build anything and get you to sign up for it thinking that it's secure, safe, when all we are doing is monitoring your activities.
That's just bot spam that is automated; I don't think the two are related.
