Deleting banned friends

I have quite a few friends that have been banned and have new user names. Is there a way to delete those old user names that no longer serve a purpose?

There use to a link to that page before they updated the site.I think a link pops up when you have a friend request now.And in case your wondering,I see only my friends when I go to that link and you see only your friends.
