+ 22 I've hit rock bottom

ad

I'm embarrassed to the point where I've gone back and forth about posting my pictures. I've seen myself in the mirror daily but getting someone else to take the photos for me...it's really sunk in in, how bad I've let myself go. I use to use eroids years ago, always got a lot of great help/advice, but I got in a bad car accident about 4 years ago, and working out has just been really painful ever since. I've basically stopped working out, and my diet has been non-existent. But, I'm always going to have an excuse and a reason not to do something. Now, it's time to start using reasons TO DO something. I don't expect to win this competition, but I hope to use the community and competition to hold myself accountable. I want to use this competition as a stepping stone. I'd like to lose around 25 lbs and put on 10-15lbs of muscle.

I'll be using HGH and Anavar. I was planning on using Test Prop, but I had an order mix up, so I'll just use the two things I have.

I went to the gym last night. I couldn't do 2 pull-ups. It's beyond embarrassing. So, I know my poses are whack, but I don't have anything to pose with, but I'll work hard and I'll get to a better place over the next 3 months.

******Finished******

Overall, I went from 191lbs to 159 (32lbs lost). My Bodyfat went from 26-27% to 13.5%. I stayed Keto for the entire EBC and really enjoyed it after the first month. I ended us staying natural for this comp. Getting back in the gym was intimidating, but I started really slow and just kept going. After 2-3 weeks I really started to look forward to my gym time. It's always been a place where I can get in a zone, think and feel comfortable. Some of my injuries bothered me at first, but keeping my pace slow helped and I was able to work through and around my issues. I'm going to shift gears now and put a more focus on gaining muscle. I'm planning on running a prop/var 10-week cycle in July. I really appreciate Eroids, Mak, CarlosD and all the competitors. for doing this, it's been a lot of fun. It's really meant a lot to me, you guys don't even know...Logging in and reading post has helped keep me going. This comp has given me a lot more goals and plans for the future - Thanks again!

Thank you, much appreciated!

Just buy some prop domestic and start as soon as you get it. Talking one week max t/a if you use a good domestic.

FrankeMortiz's picture

Thanks!!

I may have Test P in a couple of weeks. Do you think I could still benefit using 3-10?

I'll drop my HgH at week 10. I know it's a pretty weak cycle, trying to ease back in.

Manshit's picture

Test and var are my go to.Not a fan of prop but cyp and var make up 90 % of my roid use.

Yes sir brother!I like whinny as well but my liver and joints hate it.I don’t know why but whinny rocks my liver worse than anadrol or dbol.

Everyone starts somewhere!

Chin up man, you have plenty of time to make a good go of this if you allow yourself to believe you can.

Be positive, put the work in at the gym, the sleep in and other recovery options you can (massage, naps etc) and of course EAT good quality food in a calorie deficit that will allow you to shed fat and get some new muscle going.

Look forward to competing with you!

FrankeMortiz's picture

Thank you very much! I'm looking forward to some changes. Wow, your pics look great, you're already huge, excited to see what you do!

Time to kill it ! Good luck bro.

I’ll be honest I’m concerned that your paper is two days old. I’m going to have to review this with Mak. If you could it might be easier to go grab a paper with today’s date and save us the review;)

Good luck man!! You got this!!

FrankeMortiz's picture

Thanks, I really do appreciate the encouragement!

Buddy why not show what can be done without HGH and gear? Just first build up to a basic strength level of at least 12 pull-ups + and then maybe think about other options?

GizmoDuck's picture

True. Use this contest as a motivation without gear at all man! Be bad ass to see what hard work and dedication does.

But either way. You’re not at rock bottom man. You’re still at it!!!

FrankeMortiz's picture

I've really been thinking about this option. I need to get a better foundation. I think I'll hold off until I have built up my basic strength, Thanks!

press1's picture

I'm sure you'll get a lot of support doing it that way mate and it shows a lot of integrity and drive Smile +

Alot can be done all natty. This was my natty transformation many moons ago for some inspiration if that is the route you choose.

Good luck dude. This it took a lot of us some courage to post pics. We really get to analyze ourself and see things we don’t see. Eye opening for sure. Use it as motivation and you won’t slow down.

With self realization like this brother you’ve already won. That is the spirit of the EBC and why it is special. Best of luck homie.

Here's an update. It's been around 5 weeks. I was really motivated my Makwa's 12-week natural transformation and advice (Also, Press1’s advice). My base was severely lacking in muscle, so I've just decided to go natural for all 12 weeks.

I've been in Ketosis for over 5 weeks. My calorie intake has been under 1200 every day, usually under 1100. I haven't had more than 25 carbs per day since starting. I usually keep it under 17. I'm tracking absolutely everything. If it's possible to track, I'm doing it. Tracking ketones and glucose (Blood Meter). Cardio is 6-7 times per week. Lifting is the same. My workouts aren't very intense, but they're building quickly. I couldn't even do 2 pull-ups. I'm now doing weighted pull-up sets. I wasn't worried about losing muscle on Keto. Studies have shown Keto is one of the best diets to keep muscle mass while losing fat and I didn't have a lot of muscle to lose anyway. I'm down a little over 20lbs. Weight loss has started to slow, but muscle is picking up. Ketosis was hard at first, but it's been over 5 weeks now, and it's incredibly easy at this point.

My fat, protein carb ratio started at: 70/25/5
I'm now transitioning this to: 65/30/5
And, for the last 2-3 weeks I'll be at: 60/35/5 (I'll probably week this a little bit)

I'm really happy with my results so far and very thankful for this competition. Love checking the comments. Rusty's Pizza almost threw me out of ketosis...

Just 4 weeks left. I'm

F'in ell Mate - Awesome stuff! What a transformation...Good for you my man Smile +

FrankeMortiz's picture

Update #2. Just 4 weeks left, wanted to give an update. I'm down a total of around 28lbs. I'm still Keto and I'm calorie deficient and natural. I've 100% stuck to the diet/workout regimen I posted in my first update. Keto seems to suit me well. However, it's very difficult to gain muscle while calorie deficient and Keto...on the flip side, I've been able to cut a lot of body fat quickly. I've started to slowly raise my calorie intake (specifically from protein) to get better performance in the gym. My measurements say I'm 18% Body Fat ( I started at 27%), but I think I might be a little lower. In these last 4 weeks, my goal is to make some progress in the gym and try to put on 3-5lbs of muscle, while losing an additional 3-4% Body Fat. I've had a lot of fun doing this so far, definitely a life-changing experience for me... What do you know...diet and exercise works.

Impressive! Especially for natty. U waiting to start the gh, anavar or prop? +

FrankeMortiz's picture

Yeah, I'm going to wait. I'm gonna stay natty for another month after the EBC. Then I may go Var and Prop or maybe just Anavar. To start, I'd like to just put on 10lb of lean muscle, and see how I look/feel from there.

RawGonza22's picture

And then now that you are more conditioned, I believe that ur starting in the right position. Seen a few lose 60 lbs of fat and gain 50 lbs of muscle on cycle with multiple PED compounds, which IMO, the consequences of having to come off cycle is or can be a very negative process. To gain all that weight back plus some, depression, and possible addiction; 1 becomes way to many, and 1000 is never enough. Relapse, no matter what, always gets a bit worse than the ones before. Ur doing right from what I've seen personally, read about, and been through personally, somewhat. I may be wrong, people are diverse, but whatever works for you man

FrankeMortiz's picture

Thanks Raw, I really appreciate the encouragement. I think you're right, there's no one correct path. Finding what works isn't easy. I also think that in finding what works, it needs to be sustainable for the individual.

RawGonza22's picture

And then you guys with the abs and small waistline....my Fn fat ass. I'm lazy and too ashamed to post a full body pic. I'm so out of proportion
