VOTING AND SOURCE RANKS
There seems to be a common problem around here with voting, I cant tell you how many times guys complain and make negative reviews about late packs or communication problems only to change it to 100's after they finally get their gear. people ask all the time if the ranks are modified or rigged, the answer is no, the users of this site control the ranks, it is totally up to you guys to vote appropriately so that sources are held accountable for their actions via the ranking system. I have just about gave up on trying to help guys get their packs and deal with sources due to this very problem. its useless for us to stick up for you and defend you because there is a problem and then when you get your pack you just vote 100's for the source. Because this allows said source to remain in the same rank and no-one knows that this problem existed. I cant tell anyone how to vote but I can suggest that if your pack is late by more then the allotted time on their site then they probably shouldnt get a 100 for delivery. if you tried to contact them a bunch of times and it took a week to hear from them, if they told over and over again it shipped and you didnt get it then they probably shouldnt get a 100 for service. here is an example of a member that just sent me a PM as im writing this

The 100s are tentative, based on the fact that he said the missing product is on its way. If the product does not arrive, I will be adjusting his review accordingly. This will be my last go with him on this issue, we'll see what happens this week.
this is ridiculas, my point exactly! and I see this all the time, you guys need to take control of the site and rank sources properly.
I want to add something to this. Just some experience i want to share. A few years back, me and a buddy made our first online order. We waited 3 fucking months to receive. Weekly email inquiries after a month. They would get responses days, sometimes weeks later and always shitty nasty responses. I guess the theory that if you constantly break a sources stones about a late pack, they put u at the end of the line is true. Anyway, we finally got the pack. My boy was so psyched to get the gear, he thanked them up and down and pretty much did everything but blow the fuckin source. A good bit into my cycle (dbol/test) i noticed absolutely NOTHING. By the end it was apparent that we got garbage. So the point is if ppl vote on shitty service and terrible T/A, don't get all gitty and blind to the fuckin facts. Run your gear and MAKE sure the shit is good. Obviously from us "bothering" the source, he decided to sell us vitamins and salad oil. Selective scammer for sure since he got great feedback from others. Don't just be happy and satisfied with receiving. Make sure everything is quality and vote accordingly. This is just a little tid bit I wanted to share
But then you have to worry about losing rep points (If they mean anything to you,but to me and others they dont)or,sometimes some mods will say "This is not a review,take it to the forums",if its not a good review.It kills the whole idea of giving honest reviews and kills the whole idea of E Roids in general if you can only give good reviews or lose rep points if you dont.I would rather lose rep points,but give honest review regardless of the complaint.Some brown nose some sources just to gain rep points or simply just to receive the gear that they paid for to begin with.Some sources will call you a "Troll" if you leave an honest but bad review.There's one in particular and he's finally slipping in the ranks,and rightfully so.I can speak for most and say I would rather not have to fall victim to a selective scammer simply ny leaving an honest review.In alot of cases,not all but I would not be so quick to disregaurd people like me with minus rep points.Most of us at least tell the truth and dont tell people what they want to hear just for points or kiss ass for free gear.

That's not true. If you haven't received a pack and a substantial amount of time goes by. Review it. For an international source (which was the case with me) I would give them a month before you start inquiring. Domestic sources, if 30 days goes by and you haven't received ,absolutely you can review. I understand what you're saying but it's not going to happen. Just don't be one of those guys who is 3 days past T/A and bitching up and down everyday in the supp intro. Give the source an adequate amount of time to honor the deal. If you have shitty customer service. Review it and vote. Late? Review it and vote. The stuff comes in, review it and vote accordingly. If someone gets docked for points based on what I just said, let a mod know and they'll sort it out. Now if you're posting multiple complaints in the review section and havin a dick swinging contest with the source, you'll get the smack down. Just a short and to the point review. "It's been 45 days, no pack. The source has been in touch but I feel like I'm getting the run around. Will keep you posted". You won't get docked for that. If you did, that's right, it defeats the purpose of the system. I know roidnoid, Viking and BBer won't tolerate ppl being drop kicked for points when posting a review like this.
I wouldnt change it to 100% after complaining.I would just feel like an ass afterword.But I respect you for dissagreeing,we all have the right to our opinions but thats exactly how I lost all my rep points by writing negative reviews after waiting a month,over a month and he still hadnt sent it out.I had I believe 3 rep points then went -3 for just 1 neg.review.When I E mailed him,I got the same usual response"Sorry Bro,It got lost in the shuffle,I get thousands of orders per day".I'm sure you have heard that one before.We all have.The point is,us as the custies dont give 2 shits how many orders per day they get.If they have too many orders,dont take our money.Some of us have lost hundreds or thousands of dollars and have every right to get paranoid after about a month of waiting.Its one thing if you E mail the source after a day or two,thats B.S. but after a month? They shouldnt take our money after a day or two at the most,then take their time sending out our order,if ever.Bad reviews is exactly what they deserve and thats exactly why rep points mean absalutely nothing to me and alot of others.If someone has a problem with me writing a bad reveiw after I dont get my gear for a long time,especially after they say on their web site "we send out all orders within 48 hours",thats their problem,unless they want to pay me back.The sources shouldnt say things or make promises they cant keep.Its all too convinient that they dont lose our W.U. or M.G. money though,just "Misplace the orders in the oceans of orders they get per day.Bottom line,people have the right to get paranoid about our hard earned money.Not after a day or two though.Thats just wrong!!
your down votes came from using the review section like its a social network, its not for talking to other members or answering questions thats all done in the SI thread for said source
Anonmods are not gonna gank your points or erase your post if you're posting about getting bunk gear, getting shitty service or lousy t/a, or not getting your gear after a month and a half or more. that is the point of reviews: to let the next man in line know what to expect with the src. and who cares if the src or his/her fan boys call you a troll for it? if you didn't get what you were supposed to, fk 'em in the neck. no one should change their vote or rating because someone started some shit with them over it.

If the communication blows than that aspects gets a shitty one star if the gear is good give them.5. Somebody might not give a shit about communication while others may want good communication. Some people may need gear super fast and will buy from a source who has that even though the gear gets a 3 and so on......point is that we (myself included) need to vote on every aspect accordingly for the consumer who is searching around eroids for product.
great information and theoretically, if everyone would read things and understand how things work... the system would be fine!!!! the problem is that not everyone even reads the rules... in order to get access to the site READING AND UNDERSTANDING the rules and proper Etiquette should be made mandatory!!!!

That's the purpose for this system. Even if it comes, if you've waited a while and been treated like shit by the source , vote on that! Later, if it arrives you can vote on quality or whatever but leave that t/a and service vote alone. This is to protect others later

Is there any way to police it better? Restrictions or the ability to vote on a particular aspect of a source one time and one time only? No changing it later? I know we've probably made several similar threads already but maybe set a standard or lay out guidelines for what and when one should vote.
EX;
Domestic sources, if 30 days go by with no package and communication sucks or you're being lied to. Vote on those two things. Click your star and that is set in stone. You can't go back to it. When/if your shit finally arrives. You run the products and like them, hate them, now you can finish your vote on quality and overall. If you voted 1 star on service already and one star on T/A, the overall vote will reflect that and the system won't allow you to give them 100. Is this at all possible?
we may at some point in the future figure a better way but for now this is what we got, which is fine if people would use it correctly. personally I think the best way would be to have some thread like this pop up when you clicked on a star. that way you got an understanding of voting right as your doing it! but the site doesnt have those kind of capabilities.
Anoni like this idea.. i think it should pop up whenever someone clicks on the "write a review" button.
maybe we can get a hand that reaches out of the computer and slaps you twice!

AnonNo doubt! Nothing worse than unrealistic expectations for someone trying out a new source. The newbs read the reviews and ratings and place their order. The bar was set higher than it should have been sometimes, and then the newb is posting their dissatisfaction in the SI thread, which leads to groupies ganging up on the guy that spent his entire budget on gear with the expectation to get it in the timeframes depicted in the reviews.
I def agree with this. I manage a quite successful business, and it is the negative feedback that we grow from. When customers are dissatisfied, we want to know why. Them we can correct the problem so that the next person in line doesn't have to experience it. This is not a bad thing... False hope or unrealistic expectations are IMO.
exactly! if I where a source and my packs got behind I would stop taking in orders and peoples money and catch up, if I was so overloaded with shipments and everything else I wouldnt lie to you 10 times that its on its way I would just change my shipping times that are listed. Be fucking honest! If you cant respect the guys spending money at your shop then you dont need the business. and its our job to rank them so that they dont get so much publicity! believe it or not most people start at the top rank and work their way down, the farther down you are the less your seen.
Part of the problem is that some sources think we need them when in reality, the sources need us. Some sources have the "soup nazi" mentality which is just bad for business. Albeit I can imagine it is very frustrating as a source dealing with everything and everyone but that comes with the territory.

Without us using this platform to combine into a collective force we lose our ability to hold sources to an honest transaction. I've seen sources just blatantly disregard our voting system due to lack of a collective voice. Glad u said this bro. We do need to fix this before we lose our voice altogether.
Too true! This site is MEMBER RUN. So not voting accurately or reviewing in a helpful way literally screws it up for new folks. Newbs see all stars and the infamous GTG so they buy, believing prior comments. Then theres late, underdosed, rude services. It makes the voters look ...unsmart. New folks are trusting our reviews. Just be honest! If it irked you...just rate it real.
It's like people get so happy that they actually received so they just vote all 100s even though it mightve taken 60 days to get a domestic product...smh
