I thought all sources were verified??

FYI- Hey guys so Im the developer of the site. I actually think I have about 6 clients on here and several others on other forums as well. The error was overlooked as a server issue was had. But let me explain how I develop the sites and structure.

GBI site was the first site to get an upgrade on the CMS. The CMS used does not allow for in-site updates. Rather you have to create a new install and redesign the new site all over again and can sometimes (it didnt even let me in this case- i had reinput the database manually) use a database backup.

I had several sites running on the same CMS to upgrade. As well for those in web development know, the modules and extensions all need to be upgraded as well. This led to me using GBI as a master template for the rest of the sites.

GBI was asking for alot of features and modules I needed to install. So as I did this, I encountered alot of errors. which meant fixing alot of codes and errors to get the site running properly. This takes alot of time and as you can imagine it doesnt make sense to do the exact same code to all the sites I oversee. So GBI became my main template for new sites and my existing clients. This also led to me offering more modules and functionality within a site at the same rate of charge to my clients. SO I get more business and less work.

When I contact sources on forums I send them a pricing structure for initial site build, different prices for different CMS etc, if they host or I host, maintenance monthly, etc. I try to make it as easy as possible for them and limit to updates.

So when I was contacted by this client I did inform them the turnaround time of a site and I push i can get it done by. This turnaround was based on the main of GBI which I have working. So before I take an old site down I begin working on a new one on a new server or subdomain. I installed GBI main on the site and then truncate the database and get it over fresh. Then I go back and make all the little changes needed per what the client wants, new template etc. Everything was fine, until we had a server issue and lost functionality of the site. The backup used was not the fully updated backup and wasn't noticed immediately (every day after I finish I work on a site or a major change I run a backup in the event something else breaks or doesn't work). The files that were ftp from the backup to over write were from when I didnt finish the full changes.

I apologize for any confusion as to what happened with the site as I up between a move at the time and in a hurry and missed it. When this error was noted the client contacted me to come on here and explain what happened however I was receiving an error message from eroids and the Drupal CMS it runs on thru pressflow (I hate drupal btw- updated drupal version is better then this one is). In the past years I have emailed BFG regarding services I offered and got no response so I never come on here whatsoever. I do most my sales towards sources on other boards and do tell them about eroids, musclegurus as well when I do sales as other boards in which the sites maybe used on.

If BFG would like to email me I can explain in further detail. Again I apologize for the mess this has caused this client and I can confirm that these clients are in different countries and Im having to work on different time zones for communication with them.

Same designer. Same email registered. Same misspellings. "Goof" instead of good and calling them "jects" ha? Pushing the "two vials free but you pay shipping" again in your promo...that's your site designer's idea as well?
