Question for the Brewer. Is there anything really bad about EO or guac?
Outside of giving some people pip, is it in any way bad for you?

Allergies..... EO actually has zero pip itself. Its only used in High concentration gear.
Guac has a horrible smell. Its a great solvent when wanting to not use EO. It takes very very little to get a great result but a bad smell. lol.
Bad for you... That can be relative, it is a solvent. I would still think theres more research on pointing to how bad soda is for you or how the burnt pieces of stake have carcinogens. But I am not going to stop eating steak on the grill. I honestly don't know the magnitude of "credible" research on Gauc. However, Guaiacol is used as a antiseptic and anesthetic medically. EO has been used medically to and is a food source for human consumption. The FDA finds it ok to consume.

NO EO, If we use EO it will always be written in red. For instance, I was asked to do a brew this week for SUS500. That requires EO or Guiacol. If that hits the page bc all are not bought it will say EO based.
