First cycle

I'm 41 years old and considering this for a first ever cycle.. I've worked out most of my life and keep BF at 10-12% I eat great, workout hard, and sleep like a baby. Starting to feel my age and wanting to run a shorter cycle just to help me get over those peaks and hopefully feel better all around. I'm also just plain curious to see how I feel. I understand the risks and PCT, will probably wait a year before I do another cycle.. if I have good results from this initial run.

Wondering what the experienced users think of this cycle. Is 250 Test E enough, or should I run 500? I think I have everything covered for this first cycle but I'd like to hear thoughts on this, any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Update:

Received my order about a week ago and have decided to run this simple cycle to get over this plateau I've been on.. I've made a few adjustments so don't mind some of the comments below if they don't make sense lol

First pin was March 25 and went surprisingly well! The worst part was the anxiety leading up to it.. I ordered 22 g for drawing and 25 g for injecting. I went to push the needle through the skin the first time and it slid in almost all the way with zero pain! I was shocked how easy that 25 g slid in, like my leg was soft butter. Second pin was last night, March 29, both in upper outer thigh area of opposite leg. No pain and very little pip. A little sore the next couple days but less than after a good leg workout! I'm injecting 400 mg of Test E instead of 500 so I can extend the cycle to 12 weeks instead of 10.

I'm also kickstarting this cycle with a low dose of oral Winnie, 12.5 mg twice a day. Will only use for two weeks until the Test starts to kick in. Can already feel the Winnie working even though it's only been five days of taking it. Libido is up and workouts seem easier, lots of focus in the gym the last two days, I don't want to talk to anyone just lift. Smile Don't burn out as easy and recovery is fast. Blasted chest hard on Monday and already the muscle soreness is almost gone on Wed. I started taking joint supplements about a month ago and have upped my fish oil supps as well, drinking lots of water to keep things lubed up. I like my hair so started using over the counter Nexoral (sp) a couple weeks ago. I will take the other two weeks of Winnie a week or two after last injection and before pct.

Have Aro on hand but will not take it unless I start getting some sides. I know I don't have to worry about the Winnie and I'm hoping the 400 mg of Test is low enough I won't need it. I have it on hand so I don't get in a situation where I need it and don't have it.

Will try and update this log weekly for all the new guys that have a million questions. I would love to hear feedback from the experienced folks and I'll always listen to suggestions. Thanks for following along, I'm excited to see what happens in the next few months!

Week 1-12 Test E 400 mg (200 on Sat and 200 on Tue)
Week 1-2 Winstrol 25 mg (12.5 mg twice a day)
Week 14-15 Winstrol 25 mg
Week 15-18 Nolva 50/50/25/25
Week 15-18 Clomid 100/100/50/50
Aromasin on hand for Estro issues

I went with 5mg only because I was thinking of 250mg a week, if I end up running 500 I'll bump it up..

edit: If I start getting estro sides I will take 5mgs a day, split into two 2.5mg doses. Hoping I don't need it

Got my results back.. had Test checked in the morning and I am at 460

Seems pretty low for a 41 year old guy who works out regularly, eats great, sleeps good, and has low body fat

Wife has agreed to pin me if I want to go that route, she's a vet tech and gives shots daily

I don't know, I feel like shit every day and need to do something

Thoughts?

OK I'm listening, if I run this cycle I'll go with 500 test E instead of 250 C

Right, so you recommend 250 Test C twice a week? I was going to split it into two pins, one on Monday and one on Thursday, each pin would be 250 for a total of 500 for the week.

460 is a healthy level. Most guys on trt now would give their left nut to have that level.

I see.. how much does it drop throughout the day for a natty? Any idea? I only ask because I know levels are higher in the morning and that's when I had the blood drawn.

I've been reading a ton on the site for the past week.. I feel I'm starting to grasp it lol

I'm just concerned because everyone reacts differently to T levels, I trust your opinions and will listen to any advice you may have for me. I should add that even tho my number seems good, I don't really have the drive like I once did. I can go several days without even getting an erection and don't have much of a sex drive at all. I haven't had morning wood in years.

There are alot of things that could be going on causing your issues. People are way to quick to jump on the trt bandwagon thinking it will solve all of their problems. If you were in the 200's then I would say trt would be in your best interest but the level you are at is a healthy level so I would go in and talk to your doc to see what else might be going on. Full bloodwork panel, physical, the whole nine yards.

Ok sounds like I need to do this.. I understand 460 isn't that bad but with my side effects it worries me a bit. I may be at 460 in the morning, but I'm finding that levels drop as much as 30% as the day goes on. Meaning I could be in the 300's for a good portion of the day. Probably drops below 300 by evening. That sucks. If I was overweight and ate shit all day that's one thing, but I get plenty of sleep and eat like a champ. I work out frickin hard. Doesn't make sense.

Could be overtraining. Take a few days off completely from the gym and you might then feel like a million bucks again.

I work two days on, two days off and don't lift on my work days. So basically I'm at the gym for two days, then I'm resting two days. I mix up my workouts and do all the heavy lifts, including squats. It only takes about an hour to get through my workouts, chest day, back day, leg day, arm day.. I'm not new to resistance training, done it my whole life basically so I understand how muscles grow and react to training. I'm just tired of not seeing results, I want to feel good again!

Need to step up your game with the diet if you are not seeing results.

Thanks for the advice guys, I'm going to get my T level checked at a walk in lab tomorrow and will have results in a few days hopefully. Anxious to see where I'm at.. I will go from there

That's a pretty low dosage mate I'd do 500mg pin 1ml twice a week normally Monday and thursday. I would run bloods at week 4 -6 to check estro levels and then decide whether you need to add in an AI. Me personally I always carry on hand but only use when needed but that's just me. Estro does have its place when on cycle as it lubricates the joints and helps with an increase of IGF1. But still keep an eye on estro as both high and low can make you feel pretty shitty. Also PCT 2 weeks after last pin nolva 40,40,20,20

Go with test e. Pin 250 2xweek. Run it 12 weeks. Get female hormone panel for male done before you start. Again at week 6, again 6 weeks after pct.

Your pct should look:
Nolva 40/day two weeks then 20/day two weeks
Clomid 100/day two weeks then 50/day two weeks
No need for AI during pct

My honest opinion? I don't think you need steroids. If you want to get a little bigger and leaner and stronger and more vascular and yada yada, that can all be achieved with more discipline with training and diet.

Ask yourself this question: is the body you want attainable natty? If the answer is yes, you don't need AAS.

So you want to know how it feels to be something on. I want to know what it feels like to have sex as a woman. Oh well. It's not worth getting the sex reassignment surgery just to find out. See the point? This decision could affect the rest of your life.

The choice is yours.

Looking at stats, there is a lot of work that can be done before AAS come into play.

If youve made your mind up and sure you wanna start pinning, I suggest 500 mgs of test a week divided up between two or three pins a week
