STATS, DESCRIPTION, GOALS

Alright before you guys go all pct ape shit on me. I TRT and run long cycles a lot. I am 5'7 and 165 lbs. This cycle will start in September. I don't give a fuck about Halloween.

I run Adex and novla throughout cycle and TRT when needed - adex 1mg EOD and Nolva as needed which is generally only when I decide to blast TNE for a week or two.

I have never ran deca before so this the only reason I am posting this.

Thoughts opinions? looking to gain 25 lbs in 6 months - training is on point 7x a week. Diet for this will be roughly 2400-3000 clean calories (which is tuff as fuck for me to eat but I've done it before - chicken & rice)

5'7 and 165 pounds? Your problem is food brother. At 2400-3000 calories you are never going to gain weight. Im same height as you and im 200 pounds 12% BF. I have to pound down 4500+ calories a day to move the scale AT ALL.

Learn how to eat properly or the gear you are running is going to be a waste and do more damage than good.

Also, training 7x a week is stupid. Your body needs time to recover, give it proper rest so it can grow/recover.

Thanks for the tips! That’s why I am here to learn. I got I think your correct on the calories because after I posted this I moved up to 3k calories and I actually lost weight - probably just water fluctuations. I just feel stuffed all the time past 3k calories. I’m going to take everyone’s advice and work k. Getting more Whole Foods in.

165lbs after running "cycles a lot" is extremely telling.

Time to stop your current planned protocol and seriously reevaluate all aspects of your fitness goals.

Diet , however unsexy it is to say, is the key to everything.

Noted. I’m lean now. Been researching a lot on diet. Will be doing more research on al expects of my routine. Any advice is helpful. Thank you for your input.

You run long cycles a lot and still sitting at 165 lbs. It should be obvious that your diet and training are lacking. Proof here that steroids don't make up for diet and/or training. You need to get that squared away before running anymore cycles so that the steroids actually can make a difference.

Appreciate the insights. I’m 5’7 coming off the winter cut with a smaller frame. I’m in good shape and I’m just gather insight for September bulk cycle. Right now probably because of the cut I’m having appetite issues so I heard decca could help with that. Would appreciate if you could give me some insight since on the actual cycle and not life choices. My goal is not to be body builder but to get something I’m lacking which is size. I don’t look small because I have definition but I’m not a large man by any means. Thank you for your suggestion on diet and training But I just don’t see how amping up my training is going to help I’m in the gym actually working and lifting heavy for my size 1-2 hours a day religiously. Any tips on diet when you feel like your going to exploded would be helpful as well!

Cycle suggestions are irrelevant since you need to understand the fundamentals of training and diet for the AAS to even work. Read through my forums on diet and training. That is what you need to digest. Cycling will continue to get you nowhere until you can put the foundations of diet and training to work. What you are currently doing with your diet and training clearly is not working so you need to figure out what is wrong and get it fixed.

I’m going to read your “Basic workout principles for bulking” See is there are some things I can shift perhaps my training style is just not conducive for growth. Any way appreciate the info and for the tips I as I see you got a lot of post and they are well written.

Good ole "TRT." The excuse to run 8 month cycles.

addicted.to.pain's picture

honestly its not a bad looking cycle, I don't really get the mast eth at the end though.

Its just at 165lb dude I feel like you could put on some natural weight, and 3000 cal a day for a bulk is shit bro even at you current height and weight its shit. Now I understand not being able to force feed I have trouble with that myself, but you should be able to bump it up around 4000cal at least.

Oldmosely's picture

oh and on the mast - I have some. Since this is a 25-26 week cycle I figured it would help clean it up in march etc

I heard the Deca helps you with the appetite. I got up to 187 naturally before but I couldn't do it clean. I had a 200 dollar a month "ben & jerrys" bill.

noted on the 4000 calories - seems like a lot to me but that's because I have trouble taking in 3k +

So the weight gain was before or after the "TRT?"

Oldmosely's picture

I know you have heard this all before but I am actually one of the unlucky ones who are at the extreme lower end of normal on the natural testosterone scale. In my younger years before finding fitness naturally with no diet and exercise or TRT, I was a fat dude at 230 LBS.

I spent several years on diet and exercise and according to the internet at my height, my ideal weight was 145. I got there naturally. no compounds. Looked like I had HIV tho. So I got up to 185-190 area before anything and really got to know how my body reacts to carbs, protein intake, overeating, alcohol etc. I am proud to say I have not had alcohol in over 3 years now.

I know a lot of people say that TRT is an excuse to stay on and that's but imo its not part of a cycle its a part of life. I am getting old so my already low natural test production will only get lower with time - I want no part of that.

We are all our own guinea pigs but long term use of test has been shown to be safe.

Self prescribed, nice.
