+ 4 Anadrol pulsing myth

ad

I keep seeing people swear by pulsing Anadrol because it supposedly “resets receptor sensitivity” after it stops working. I finally dug into the actual studies and that claim looks pretty weak.
First off, Anadrol has notoriously low direct binding affinity to the androgen receptor. That’s been known forever. Check the 1984 Saartok study. Yet it still kicks ass for mass and strength. It works through strong downstream AR signaling and protein synthesis. Low binding doesn’t automatically mean it “desensitizes” your receptors in 2 weeks.
More importantly, AAS in general tend to upregulate androgen receptors in muscle, not downregulate them. A 2022 review in Muscles peer reviewed scientific journal went over this and said the whole “chronic AAS causes receptor burnout” idea is flawed. You actually get more receptors and better response with continued use, not less.
Clinical trials back this up too. They’ve run anadrol continuously for 12–32+ weeks in patients and kept seeing lean mass and strength gains without any need to pulse for a “reset.” Gains slow down eventually because of sides, not because your receptors magically stop listening after 14 days.
So yeah, pulsing can still be useful for giving your liver and blood pressure a break if you want to run Anadrol longer overall. That part makes sense. But the idea that it magically resets sensitivity and makes each blast hit like the first one? That’s pretty much a myth that has been spreading around on this forum. What do you guys think?

“ Interestingly enough, in that study, they were taking like 300mg”

They did! I'm about 100kg so that would be 100-500mg a day. Given, if they had anemia, they probably dont weight over 150 but that's still around 300mg. And only 35% of patients had elevated liver values. That's really not much considering they were taking over 50mg a day for MONTHS

Good fucking morning to you fuckers…. I still think adrol should be pulsed hahahahah you didn’t convince me.

Yeah if you look back to when it was first introduced on here, the claim was that it has weak binding. And pulsing it resets your receptors so it keeps working. But anadrol doesn't work through binding to the receptors. Most of it works by increasing red blood cells among other things. Really, I've run for 16 weeks with zero issues. I'm very religious on support supplements. I take like 3 different ones for heart/bp, two different for liver. Shit dude I checked my liver after running for four months and it was only ten points out of range and that was even back when I was an alcoholic

I'd love to read the research papers; it would be great if you could send them my way. I am currently "pulsing" Anadrol, but for health reasons rather than AR sensitivity regulation.

Here's one of them. I'll look through my history and post the other two later
