@AASDirect care to reply???

Anarchy2022's picture

Accepted your friend request.

Not saying I handled things appropriately at all, I admit I was several high abv IPA’s into my evening when shit went south, but all of this was more than a simple misunderstanding. This went totally FUBAR in ways I couldn’t imagine involving a rogue scammer posing as Ryan trying to get more money - I see Ryan explained it below. I’ll do my best at damage control here and to make it right.

Good man! I actually knew if I asked him on here he would sort you completely out.

Anarchy2022's picture

Yeah I appreciate you doing that too, because it got the real Ryan’s attention, and he apologized for what happened, I apologized for going scorched earth, and he got me sorted out, processed my order, and now I have a tracking number and hopefully a new, dependable source for the foreseeable future.

Now I just gotta figure out how to delete my original comment because it’s undeserved for aasdirect.

You can ask @Greg but I am not sure if he will. I think everyone can understand now what happened we have both sides and a great resolution to the issue.

Anarchy2022's picture

True enough, maybe it can’t help prevent this exact situation in the future for others.

Anarchy: A state of lawlessness and disorder. Often associated with chaos and a lack of control.

...it fits you perfectly.

Anarchy2022's picture

Lmao. Very astute of you Greg, I have absolutely no defense or retort --

I’ll try to keep the anarchy to a minimum in the future, I’m pretty ashamed of myself for jumping the gun and causing the trouble I did. Hope there’s no hard feelings from anyone.

Here is the reply on to his message on our telegram customer service. (Slightly edited to comply with eroids rules to the best of my knowledge).

First off, I want to sincerely apologize for the frustration you’ve experienced with your order. We do receive a high volume of orders and inquiries, so at times it can take a bit for me to get back to everyone. To add to the delay, I’ve been feeling under the weather the past few days—some kind of stomach bug that completely took me out yesterday. I’m just now starting to get back on track and catching up.

After reviewing everything, I want to clarify an important point: the person you were messaging under the name “Ryan Enki” was not me. My communications have always come from this official account (https://t.me/aasdirect_ryan) . We’ve posted warnings on the website, forums, and in our Telegram groups about scammers impersonating AAS Direct staff—unfortunately, it’s a common issue for trusted sources like us.

Now regarding your actual order:

It looks like this was your 6th attempt, with the first on the 4th of the month and the most recent (which you attempted payment on) on the 13th. Each order placed through the website generates a unique Bitcoin wallet address—this is crucial. The system looks for payment going to that specific wallet to verify the order.

In your case, the funds were sent to a wallet designated for funds that come from a 3rd party payment processor. Since you didn’t go through this 3rd party processor directly or provide an order reference to them, nothing was forwarded to us, and the site couldn’t link your payment to your order. You must have gotten this wallet address from your first order attempt on the 4th.

Thankfully, I was able to track down the payment manually, and your order will be processed and sent out today.
For the future, please make sure to follow the payment instructions exactly as laid out on the site. This helps everything run much more smoothly for both sides.

Also, I kindly ask that you refrain from making threats toward me or anyone on the AAS Direct team. We are not ranked the #1 USA domestic source on Eroids by accident—we got here by doing right by our customers. But with that visibility comes more impersonators and scams that we all need to watch out for.

I totally understand the stress when things don’t go as expected, especially for a first-time customer. But I have to be honest—your reaction was one of the most extreme we’ve seen. I hope now that you’ve seen the situation more clearly, you’ll understand that things do take a little more time and care when operating in a privacy-focused, secure, non-cloud-based environment like ours. Every order is handled manually with your safety in mind.

anvil's picture

Thank you, I knew this was gonna be his fault. AASdirect is not looking to steal his 300 clams or whatever he was spending. Now, how easy was that to clear up??? All I did was ask. I swear ....these people wanna set fire to the world. Ryan is a professional and I knew his response wouldn't be to send more money since we already stole it the first time.

Pandateston's picture

@AASDirect Anvil, I'm pretty sure it's a misunderstanding. This Src has been around for years, and I have never had any problems with them, nor have I heard anything like that. I believe this issue will be handled promptly.

anvil's picture

Oh i knew I would be making fun of this guy , just needed an official reply to what I already knew.

SeeOhShow's picture

Well based on the statement above by the src, it sounds like it was all user error caused. Then the user, like they usually do, go on a crusade against the source instead of taking accountability for their own stupidity. I could never be in a customer service job. I don’t have patience or sympathy for idiots.

Pandateston's picture

Me neither, man! As usual, a user comes in guns blazing over a small issue, throwing shade at a source that’s been around for years with a solid rep and a lot to lose — all over a single order. I totally get that everyone’s experience is personal and should be shared — that’s the point of the review section. No service is perfect.

But there’s a difference between reporting an issue and just throwing out ghost accusations with zero patience or respect. A simple, respectful PM would’ve gone a long way — maybe even a quick post here to explain the issue clearly. But trying to solve things by attacking publicly without real context? Useless.

Anyway, couldn’t agree more with what you said. Some people just refuse to take accountability.

AASDirect's picture

To be fair, from a first-time customer’s perspective, the situation didn’t look great. He believed he had completed payment, then saw the order cancel, and shortly after received a message from a scammer asking for more funds. While he did make several mistakes along the way, I can understand how, from his point of view, it seemed suspicious. Unfortunately, this space is full of dishonest sources and scammers, which makes trust even harder to build at the start.

Jedizzle's picture

Just out of curiosity how would a scammer know to hit this guy up for more funds.

Anarchy2022's picture

I hope I’m not out of line responding to this question since you asked aasdirect and not me, but I think I know the answer to that. They have a general discussion thread on telegram you can access if you have an account. Another person made a post asking if anyone else was having any problems with their orders, and I naively responded to that thread and detailed my problem vaguely, saying it was my first order with them, had placed my order, paid w/BTC, and then saw my order was cancelled. That was enough info apparently for the scammer to be able to hit me up and try his scam.

Edited to add:
That being said, if you have any customer service-related issues, keep them between yourself and customer service and don’t post about them in the other non-customer service channels.

Payment instructions on your page and many other sources on here are so simple my 5 year old could accidentally buy gear from y’all… though I constantly see that be the area screwed up by the user then they blame the source.

Just gets annoying to see it. Since it pops up on every single source page I feel like
