I don't genuinely devalue the complexity of the individual human experience by classifying clusters of people as such, however doing so expedites a very broad and somewhat flawed explanation of interpersonal relationships. Def not. It's nondenominational. It talks about turning your life over to a "higher power" since you cant control yourself. But you can make that power whatever you want. You can pick the AA group, any god of your choice, the universe, etc. It's really just a way to get people to look for help outside of themselves since they apparently can't deal with this shit on their own.
Every meeting i know of does happen in a church of one denomination or another though.
It's not derogatory. It's humility and solidarity. It's the one-in-two "friends of Bill" fitting in with the normies who know about, but don't understand, alcoholism.

Nothing against AA or Christianity at all, I think trying to connect with a higher power is a fine pursuit. Just didn't want to feel like a fraud and from what I understand most of those groups are REALLY insistent on it.

That's facts so well said. I agree not all women are bad but what I'm saying is folks can and do change over time. I made that comment because I knew a guy who was married for 15 years then after his divorce all of a sudden his ex wife wants to rat him out.....well hell she didn't rat him out for those prior 15 years so why rat him out now? Just saying, it's crazy man. Probably an isolated and or rare situation but still. Thing is she seemed like a decent good supportive woman but like you said folks are disgusting, immoral humans nowadays and I'll take it a step further than that, it's always been that way since humans existed, pretty sure cavemen dealt with scandalous ass cavewomen too haha. But seriously folks have hatred, jealousy, envy and all sorts of things inside their hearts regardless if they hide it or deny it and that applies to men and women. Crazy world my man and getting crazier by the day. But yeah in all there are good women out there. We can't label all bad.

With all the stories on the internet, and from things i've seen personally, i don't think it's all that uncommon for a woman to go nuclear on her man after she loses respect for him or feels like he's wronged her in a way that can't be fixed. I'm not saying every woman will do it. But i've seen it happen a few times personally and i personally love the stories where an ex tries to screw her old man over because her feefees got hurt and it ends up blowing up in her face. But i'd probably love the stories when the guy goes crazy and it blows up in his face too. It's nice to see shitty people get what they deserve in the end.
You’re describing what happens when people are ruled by emotion. When things are good, they are amazing; when they go south, it turns into insane spitefulness and resentment. The world is so fucked up right now. Even the good ones can flip on you. It is all calculated risk, got to protect yourself the best you can.
That's exactly what I'm describing. That definitely applies to guys just like it applies to women. Doesn't apply to every woman but women can be nasty. And yes the good ones will flip on you, which is what happened in my buddies situation. I surely didn't see it coming neither did he. I mean she smeared this dudes rep. Hell she even had the gym owner kick him out of the gym. She got the laws involved and everything. It's definitely a gamble. For every bad case like that there are other cases where it all works out.
That sucks homeboy went through all that. I guarantee he didn’t see that one coming that whole time. I went through it with my ex, I don’t talk to a majority of my extended family because of that type stuff, they took her side after the lies and garbage. Any dude remotely successful in the relationship world has been through something. The problem is when it goes to far and they try fucking peoples lives up. I’ve seen dudes do it too. Goes back to what you said. No morality or ethics.
My man when a mofo is evil then they'll say or try anything to get at you. I've seen it and it's happened to me so I know about that 100%. That's just reality though, some folks are wired that way and it's best to just try and avoid those types. Sounds like you and I are fortunate though. Yeah morals and ethics are thrown out with the garbage.

Yea it sucks but It is what it is. It is almost better this way in my opinion. It is definitely tough to navigate some of those dynamics in the world today. Sometimes you have to conceal certain things, other times it is best to be honest and straightforward. It is a risk one way or another.
Those last two sentences sums it all up. And yeah hope it eventually works out with your fam and if folks don't act right keep it moving. Remember what we both said though.... it's a messed up world. What seems good is bad and what seems bad is now good. Just the way it is. Remaining strong minded helps though
