+ 8 Spoiled the Mrs for V day. - Got her a crotch rocket
So I had gotten the wifey a gift certificate to Harley for xmas so she could take her riders course. She knocked that out last month and got her endorsement on her license a couple weeks ago. We go shop used starter bikes and after a few, she found one she loved. To make sure, I tried to convince her to get the cafe racer instead of the gixxer. She was adamant about getting the gixxer so I decided I'll buy it. Played like we didn't have the funds and told the kid you have my highest offer. Knowing he'd finally come down he texted me two days later and said he can come down to my asking price. Had him drive it over to my house on V day while the wife was at work. When she came home, she opened the garage to a new bike....well new for her. She freaked out. She cried, I smiled, I got head on the staircase right after. Win win.

Word. Yea born and raised in H town. I move around a lot these days. We wear out one vacation spot after 5-6 years and then move onto the next. It was mountains in Colorado. Beach these days.
I love Colorado. Couldn't remember but u moved from H- Town? Thought u were still there
Yea. Moved to Denver in 2015. Left in 2021. By the beach now. Flowda. Lol
Ok. Must be nice. I tell folks all the time if you can afford to travel then do it. I did certain things that allowed me to travel. Alot of nice places in this country to see. I loved Las Vegas also. Some of my buds have never even left the city or town in which they were born.
In Florida I don't see how you all deal with those Hurricanes. Every damn year you know exactly what's coming...no power or even worse, no home to go back to.
No I don't have massive money that allows me to travel, my traveling came from competitive sports and weight lifting so I was lucky. Still traveling but not as far
House made of concrete. See the walls in the garage? Right by the water too. Last two hurricanes everyone took in water around us. About 4'. We stayed dry. My cul del sac is highest in the area. Houston got hurricanes too. No biggie for me. We just hunker down.
O yeah anything in that Gulf of Mexico area has hurricanes. O yeah I know that folks in Houston catch hell too
My ninja. You know I had to mention getting my dick sucked. LMFAO.
Yea, bikes arent for everyone. I've have been lucky and dodged alot of near death situations. Just have to be able to anticipate what people are gonna do. Like I mentioned before. Been riding since I was 10. Learned on a 1978 RM 400 2 stroke....a mans dirt bike. No gear, wheelieing, jumps, you name it. Different time back then. These days I stay geared up but I ride like I stole it.
Lmao only if they knew those legendary skull stories. My manz
Yeah man I've heard so many stories of guys getting drunk and or just being reckless on those bikes resulting in injury or even death like my
buddy. I'm sure you know what you're doing though. My buddy was a young buck back in the day so we know how that goes with some youth. I'll get a cruiser maybe but who knows.. maybe I'll get a crotch rocket!
You stay geared up and riding in fancy cars and bikes like you own the damn world lol. Let us enjoy life too ya selfish Skull loving prick lolol
I have the reaction video on my phone. But wait til I move the lights and shit to the garage. I'm gonna beat the brakes off that pussy with her bent over her own bike. OF and the fetish sites gonna blow up. Lol. Bring those stories to life you been hearing about. Lol
LMAO. I believe every word on that. You'll be thinking about eroids while going to pound town... smiling
My ninja. Life has been rough the last two years. My consulting business took a shit once interest rates went up. Literally 85% of my business that would normally come in was put on hold. All apartment projects that were gonna be built just got back burnered. Went from 300k to 62k year before last to 43k. Finally coming back tho. I'll do 22k this month. Did like 6 apartment projects the last month. Counting material on my computer in my boxers.
But to put that into perspective, my rent is 44k a year. I managed to survive yet another economic crash and record inflation without a hand out. Weeeeee
Yeah I remember you telling me about all that. I figured that's why you weren't around. Man like they say if it doesn't kill you it makes you stronger so you should be stronger than a mofo.. Just remember we all want your success but we can't have it without failure lol. I'm jealous lol. Wishing u well my man and you know that.
Love that. No more backpack for ya, but now she gets to experience the freedom and thrill. I sold my 2000 Dyna FXDX and miss it so fucking much. Currently restoring a 1969 Norton Ranger my Grandfather left to me.
Hard to find many sport bikes that are comfortable at 6’4 and broad honestly, but I’ve been teetering towards getting another soon!
A Norton? Damn. Haven't heard that name is forever. Nice bro!
Yea, I've been riding 36 years. 9 bikes, 2 of which tracked, never crashed. And I ride like I have a death wish. Met the wifey 25 years ago when I had a R6. She's been a backpack the entire time.
When I first picked it up. Now it has two new tires, got the slugged oil out, and will run in idle. Something wrong with fuel ratio I’m no expert mechanic at all, but inherited his tools as well so YouTube has helped a ton haha.
It’s fun to see something start to come back to life!
Nice. Take the carb off, take it apart. Take pictures of each stage of disasseble. Take away anything that isnt' metal. Then stick it in some varsol. It'll eat all the build up off overnight. Reassemble and install. Tune the air/fuel with the carb screw. If still fucking up, check the pitcock.
I forgot you were a mechanic and all. You plan on getting another bike? I know about the cars lol
I'll get a Ducati V4R once the Bimmer is paid off. Keep the bimmer too. Yea, I turn a wrench on my shit. Cant trust ppl to do a good job and not rape you with these germans cars and bikes. On my 5 series I've literally changed all the things that go wrong with these cars. Coil packs, spark plugs, trans fluid, oil filter housing gaskets, coolant flange, boost solenoid, diverter valve, pulley tensioner, drive belt, front and rear brakes and put new tires on last week. 2012 535i xdrive m sport. 62k miles.
I remember some of those pics. Damn it I wish you were my mechanic. And you're right about not being able to trust a lot of shops. Doggy dog world my man but I'm trying to make my dollar stretch and get the most of it so no time for those shady tree mechanics lol. But I'd do business with the Skull King. You're really into this which I knew a long time ago. ....damn it fancy cars, bikes and women!!!!! We're jealous
If it's broke, I can fix it.
Man I wish I had that.
My brain works like legos- if I can take it apart step by step and all the correct parts are there, I can 100% of the time clean it and put it back together correctly.
Now if parts are missing and/or break… that’s where I struggle.
I wouldn't bet against ya
Not that fancy. My 535 is a 2012. Paid off. Low miles. But I take care of my shit.
anvilDamn you, gonna make miss riding and go get another bike...
2018 GSX-250R. 2k miles.
