Does anyone know why someone’s avatar would vanish?? @23Sparta wtf man, we spoke almost daily although this past month both of us kinda slowed down a bit and seemed to more busy than usual. But he was still on here daily, I don’t think one day has passed since he joined that he wasn’t on here and now it’s been two whole days. For anyone that knows his personal life, you know why that’s concerning.
I moved to a new state a couple of years ago, never made any friends here and back home 99% of my friends all died because of fentanyl, even two friends who didn’t use hard drugs still died from the stuff. Long story short I consider Sparta to be an actual friend, one of the very few I have left. He’s a great dude and a rare type of person,. I’d always tell him he good be a great leader or politician lol. He is good with words and truly cares about people around him and wants everyone in his life to succeed. Just such a great stand up dude, the type of person you’d want in your corner. Always checking in, wanting you to do what’s right and truly caring.
Anyways I always fear the worst but hopefully he’s just busy for a few days or maybe not feeling well. Everyone just say a prayer that he didn’t do something dumb and we’ll talk to him soon. If anyone knows something I don’t, please message me, thanks fellas.

Does anyone know if he changed his tag along with his profile pic? There was someone on my friends list as the stock pfp pic and a random name but when I clicked on it and it was @23Sparta ‘s profile but chalked it up as a site error. This was about 3 days ago.
I mean the mods have to know something right? Without breaking confidentiality or rules what would be the most a mod could weigh in on this?
I mean if dude got caught up in something it’s probably best to keep it under wraps for his case but shitty to not know if he’s at the very least ok or it’s even him deleting the profile from the same IMEI and IP address as he’s been tracked to this site from.
Nah I doubt they know anything, he would’ve messaged one of use before he told a mod. They might be able to see what device pulled them down but that wouldn’t tell us much because I’m already assuming it was him who did pull them down. That’s one of the things giving me hope that he’s ok and just going incognito. Like if he wa walking down the street and got hit by a bus he wouldn’t have time to pull his pics down but if he wanted to go hide out for a few months and watch the bachelorette and go soft then it would make sense that he pulled pics
Yes it’s weird Sparta was very consistent in my short time here, from checking profile shows him not logging in since 10/1, & @DeeMan 10/3. Hope everything is ok. Weird they are both awol

100% expected to see him pop in by now. Only been few weeks for me, but was he very active here for those weeks.
It’s coming up on a weeks time. I know for sure he was here last weekend. I’m hoping for the best, maybe he got caught up worst case.
He stopped doing all things to get jammed up again. Definitely not how he lived his life anymore. All he cared about was lifting and supporting his brothers in their same journey.
Hoping it's just him being caught up with life and laying low for a bit. Sending good vibes and prayers his way.

This is why I like it here. We only know each other form the internet but we actually care. Sometimes I lose hope in people because of all the hate going around. But there are people like me that want to see people be good to other people and be genuinely happy.

I believe Makwa himself is doing okay, I am not sure if he will return to the site though - I hope he does as he is probably the most helpful and knowledgeable member there has ever been on here. He always had time for everyone.

Yeah I wanted to reiterate this too, I hope everyone realises that just because we can go through periods where we interact with some particular members a lot - and then can have periods where we are talking to others or newcomers it doesn't mean that I have fallen out with anybody or become less of a friend
There are just so many good people on here nowadays to chat gear with and have a laugh with that you can end up all over the place and then realise that its been weeks since you spoke to another good pal.
Ya you just get to know the ways guys kinda operate and stuff so you can tell when things are off for a guy. Also just the type of people a lot of us are, if someone falls off it’s usually much worse than a regular person just kinda being “under the weather”. When us hardcore degenerates go missing, we’re in prison, rehab, hospitals, on the run, or on the street. It’s ok if we don’t talk as much or at all even, as long as everything is still good, I’m happy
I’d like to imagine you all posted similar post when I went missing due to health reasons four years ago… never thought to log in and tell people my status. I won’t do that to you all again. In all fairness I went blind and couldn’t even put my passcode into my phone to try and update anyone lol. I just sat in the hospital listening to HGTV.

anvilYeah kinda goes in waves sometimes. Once I lock in with a group, it's always all good.
I did notice that he had removed his avatar mate a few days back, which I thought was unusual. But I have also seen him saying that he is back at work now after several weeks off, I think returning to work after being able to train and eat everyday as he liked was getting him down a little as he is often tired and not able to progress as well currently. Often when people remove avatars its because they just wanna kind of go unnoticed for a while or aren't feeling as upbeat as usual. I did notice last night though that his comments have stopped appearing, but I have also seen he has the odd night here and there where he won't come on as I think he is just pushed for time and busier trying to cram everything in on an evening compared to before.
I Hope he is okay too buddy - he is a pretty headstrong guy and I can't believe he would do anything to possibly put himself in a bad situation again.

Ya hopefully just tired from being back to work and stuff, I am sometimes not on here as much either so I probably never noticed him ever not here, we just always are on at the some times I guess. The avatar is what kinda threw me off.
anvilMonday was the last time we spoke. Honestly, I'm not worried. From the conversations we have had, neither of us are headed backwards and always pushing forwards. We aren't gonna be doing burpees in a box ever again.

Ya I know his mindset was forward but sometimes old things have a way of ruing your plans of doing good. I know some of his brothers recently gotten caught up after doing good for a while. Sometimes when someone close to you goes down, it’s not long before someone comes knocking
I’ve forever cruised the forums here from 12 years ago to see the distant past of users keeping the extra talk to a minimum, stats weight and good gear, now there’s been times where I can just vibe out and allow myself to let loose, that guy Sparta is in a league of his own though, more than often us younger guys are always looking up to the older guys on here , there’s always one bad apple in the bunch pretending to be someone who they aren’t, such a fucking letdown..
He’s just able to step back and focus on other things in life which I admit I have a hard time doing, the ex addict alcohol ,, everyday on this side of the wall is a fucking blessing cause I can see situations that will put me back while or just before they happen and I have the ability to cruise by and SWEEEERVE
I would always tell him he has such a way with words. He had the ability to completely shut down an “enemy” gracefully, without insult, straight direct to the point but a swift fucking kill shot.. I know he has “big” brothers but I’m sure everyone around him looks up to him
anvilI know how ya feel, him and I had a strong bond here and always looked out for each other and the crew here. We will continue on until his return, which I am sure will be soon. He considered me his big bro, which thought was an honor. As we always were chat up how to get huge , and making fun of these fools saying dumb stuff in here. Anyhow have good night guys.
