+ 1 Gaba + Theanine = R.e.m. sleep/dreams

ad

At times I have trouble getting a good night's rest, mainly due to the amount of caffeine I consume which is three large iced coffees per day. Anyhow this combo seems to complement each other pretty well even at low doses.

I normally take theanine everyday in the morning at 200 mg. This helps keep me pretty calm throughout the rest of the day. I like it.

Recently I picked up some Gaba for my ADHD 3 yr old daughter. They are just gummies and pretty low dose. 50mg. Unfortunately she refuses to eat the gummies, she has problems with textures because she is on the spectrum.

So I started taking them, why let them go to waste lol. Right now I'm only taking MK6-77 and a low dose of test. Typically I'll have two or three vivid dreams during the week which are very real but only in short spurts, from what I can remember of them.

The past couple days since I started the gummies I have had consecutive nights of extremely vivid dreams and they were lengthy. So I decided to do some research about the combination of them.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6366437/

The first night I had a really good sex dream with a chick that I did not recognize and we weren't actually doing it but just laying together on the couch. Kind of makes you feel like a teenager again when those happen, I tend to want to go back to sleep when I wake up.

Unfortunately the next few nights I've had some vivid dreams which were lengthy yet again and they were about past jobs and my failures and the uneasiness of really wanting to make them work. Most likely it is my brain trying to work through some of the issues which pop into my mind during the daytime, which is a good thing I know but. Shaking off that morning time anxiety and having them happen consecutively, I've realized that even at a very low dose I must be sensitive to this supplement in some way.

I just wanted to share my experience with those so far

So if you're having trouble sleeping and or want to have some crazy ass dreams, give them a shot I'm not saying it will work for everybody but there seems to be some science behind it from the link I posted above.

They have melatonin supplements with theanine and GABA as a 3-in-1. I can take 200 mg of caffeine for preworkout at 5pm, be on DHB which gives trensomnia type effects, and still be knocked out before 10pm when taking those melatonin supplements. Will get me a solid 6 hours of sleep, which is the best I can do these days even on cruise.

Yep I've seen them, a little groggy in the morning from the melatonin. My sleep has been 110% for the past 8 months since beginning a 6-month cycle of ACH and the past 6 weeks I've been taking mk677. But this was more of a freak accident lol as I already take the theanine daily and randomly started the gaba, the vivid dreams have been consistent so I did a little research this morning.

Before I took the HGH yes I was having some trouble with sleep but that was due to a course of Prednisone which created some really bad insomnia. I was taking melatonin, magnesium glycinate, valerian root. That combo was getting me my normal 8 hours of sleep before that I was only getting six. HGH is a game changer in that dept. Mk677 also. I would almost say they are an equal tie

Gotcha. Melatonin is tricky. For me there’s a sliding scale of too much. A little over and I wake up groggy, significantly over and I get vivid nightmares. Like outlandish shit. And I’ll wake up at 3 am wide awake without going back to sleep. I have no clue why companies sell 5mg and 10mg pills/gummies. 2-3mg and I’m out even with caffeine and AAS insomnia issues. Gotta be timed/slow release pills too.

Of course now my toddler wakes me up out of deep sleep at 3am because she needs to pee. Whole different issue…

Have you checked igf1? Hgh gets me sleeping like a kid again but my levels were low prior and poor sleeping

I’ve only very recently started supplementing HGH. It’s been a game changer with regards to amount of sleep I get. Now when I only get my 6 hours I feel like I slept 10. My wife is envious of how I can sleep 6 hours, do daily cardio, chase a toddler around, then do a daily lift, chase the toddler some more, and still have energy. I’d be more than happy to share my stash with her but she ain’t down with the needles.

5iu IM about an hour before bed, fasted, feels like a bonk on the head with a hammer. Lights out. But of course I would get some night sweats at that dose.

Ya any type of GABA drug or supplement is usually really good for anxiety and sleep. There’s also a tea called kava that works on the GABA receptor also that’s great for calming and relaxing or sleep. But the tea doesn’t taste that great, it’s not horrible but not good
