Any good bodybuilding cooking book for recipes and meal prep?
Hi yourdad, try Amazon there is a shit ton on there some are crap though. One I have that I downloaded off amazon to my kindle is called the "shredded chef "has a lot of recipes in it ( over a hundred) and that should be a good place to get you started. It has breakfast, lunch , dinner recipes.
Yourdadyeah i already checked on amazon.I like to change my recipes and try new foods because after 2-3 months my diet becomes boring. Thanks for the feedback bro
Here's something to eat. You can add to and/or change.
Brown and drain 1 pound of hamburger meat.
Cook 1.5 cups of rice.
Cook 1 cup brocolli.
Drain and rinse one can of stewed tomatoes. Add enough water to bring to a boil and add a jalapeno, Mrs dash, and 1/2 a lime. Drain again prior to mixing.
One can cream of mushroom soup.
8 oz of light sour cream
1/4 cup milk
8 oz Monterey Jack cheese.
Combine the meat in a LARGE pot you made the rice in, add the brocolli, the stewed tomatoes, sour cream, cream of mushroom soup and milk. Stir all up and mix it well. Scrape every bit of it into a casserole dish that will hold all of it. I use a white oval corning ware dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min uncovered. After 30 min, take out the dish and put all the Monterey Jack cheese on the top. Place back in the oven and bake for 10 minutes. Take out and let cool a little then eat.
When I make this it lasts about a day and half. The dish I noted above allows the casserole to be about 3-4 inches thick. It never lasts long. Try it out. I came up with this after having left over brocolli in the fridge that I was gonna throw out....now this is included in my meal plan.
Next time I make it I am adding in some chicken...maybe a pound...
Yourdadthanks for sharing information about food with me bro and taking the time to write this!!
Anytime bro...it's a meal that's balanced...you could probably eat it all in one day as long as you are making more while you're eating it...lol
it's not complicated and it doesn't take much time...
YourdadFood is good but its never enough
Man this makes me hungry
The cheese on the top makes it superb...
It's really good, too...it's easy to make and if my 8 yr old will eat it...it's got to be good...lol
You got me.... I just bought the ingredients I will be having this for lunch tomorrow along with grilled chicken breast
Please let me know on a scale of 0-10, how you rate that meal...0 = no bueno and 10 = darn tasty and fillin'...lol
Thanks , bro...you won't be disappointed...
Man that recipe was a 10. Only thing I added was chicken breast squeezed lemon and dash of black pepper and kids, wife, coach and buddies loved it. Thanks brotha! Definitely added that to my meals especially for lunch
Awesome!! It's a keeper for sure...glad y'all liked it and that so many more people did too!!
With google at your fingertips and millions of healthy recipes you don't really need a book imho.
YourdadI want to change my meals...and find another easy, fast delicious recipes. I always cook in bulk so youtube and google are not that good and the good information outhere regarding meals is limited. With dash seasonings and ridicoulous marinates I cant eat bro!!
Agreed. There's a ton of great information on Google. Research, there are plenty of places that have great recipes.
