Female Want to start second cycle, need advice

ad

Hello fellow swollemates!! I am a female, age 30 Y.O, BF 18%, Power Lifter, Did my first Var and Win Cycle about 4m ago. It was an 8 week cycle; recovered well form it; post blood work was semi low T3 and low T4 but has normalized, all other blood work seemed normal~~
My goal from the last cycle was to gain more strength and Muscle Mass and of course burn some BF% as a +; I compete so I want to bring more to the table. Overall my cycle was successful. I wanted to start another cycle, a more serious one; for same purposes and definitely drop more BF%, but I'm not sure If I should stick with the initial cycle VAR AND WIN or my friend was recommending a more serious cycle that was :
20mg Var every day
20mg Clen every day
1cc of Primo/once a week
for a 8 week cycle

So before I get into something more serious, I have a couple of questions and I figured I could get some good help here!!!
1. Would this cycle be ideal for someone like me that has already done a beginners cycle that wants to continue gaining more muscle mass, strength and loose BF% on the way? Or is it too much? Why?
2. How long should I wait to start my second cycle? Considering that all my post cycle blood work is normal.
3. My period is no where to be found although all blood was normal(I'm definitely not pregnant) , should I wait to get my period, or can I start the cycle when the "waiting period" is over ?
4. Also, I have been doing research on PCT for females although a lot of literature says it really isn't needed, I feel like us females definitely need PCT since we are as well messing with our bodies normal homeostasis. Any advice ? besides weaning off the stuff slowly.
5. Lastly If I want this cycle to help with the loss of BF % as well, what are the recommendations of the macros? I already macro count, I really try to stick to the T with it, but I want to make sure I am doing everything correctly !!!

Any kind of advice would really really help !!!
THANX !!!

KodiakGrr thank you for your extensive knowledge I definitely appreciate it!! It completely makes sense, your totally right. My last cycle went so well that I gained strength, muscle mass and dropped BF! But maybe its because it was my first cycle ..
1st- 7th I just finished competing in June, so now I have some time off. So if you ask me to build a base, I guess the first thing I want to do now is definitely lean out more. So considering that now I really want to focus on how I look "my physique" its going to be a Bodybuilding style type of workouts to reach a lower BF% and maintain my muscle. I already do cardio (I took your advice for the previous emails BTW) and I definitely cycle my cards and macro count. I have always had good about of Muscle mass around my body its always been the struggle of loosing those BF %s ;

8th to 9th - I didn't mean any kind nolvadex or other Post cycle steroids that are primarily recommended by men, (sorry should of been specific) I was just asking if there was anything that I should be taking to help level hormones out.
10th- I have been macro counting - not really dieting - I want to make sure I have enough fuel for my lifts since I power lift. But now that I want to decrease that BF% and maintain my muscle .. I will be cutting down on macros.
11th- so primo should be ran for 10 weeks - got it - does that plan I have make sense then - or am I still off, I definitely want to make sure Im doing this right. Hence why I appreciate your suggestions !!

Roid Noid -14th- Body weight is 140 lbs - and I cary my muscle mass primarily on my legs !

15th - I have been training for 3 years now !
Makwa- thank you I will read this info!!

cycling done properly with the right diet is going to result in fat loss but when you talk about specific goals of gaining power and mass but AlSO want to drop body fat you run into issues that the two goals are so different that to do either one well you have to pick one.

If focusing on BB type of cycle not only will your training change but so will diet ... however, while ON cycle cutting calories is going to be detrimental to the cycle and defeats the purpose of running the gear. Caloric deficits on cycle will result in loss of muscle mass and defeat the purpose of body building.

If this was my cycle I'd run the cycle at 150-200mg per week split into 2 pins Monday and Thursday ( I am actually going to start a primo cycle @200mg per week here pretty soon with a run of 10-16 weeks depending on the sides) with the goal of training more like a body builder. I ll change my diet not to drop calories but shift from starchy carbs to fiberous carbs and replace calories lost with calories from proteins. I eat just as much off cycle as I do on cycle anymore to maintain the muscle mass I have gained over the years.

I never look to my training to lower body fat or my cycle either rather I cut body fat off cycle manipulating my diet and adding light cardio so I m not wasting my money on gear trying to strip off fat without losing muscle mass.

Tapering off is going to the best way to help your system come back to some sense of normalcy.

OK got it ! In this case then I will not cut calories and I will focus on fibrous carbs - my diet is super clean and I stick pretty much to lean meats, fish, veggies , healthy fats; all I have to do is really focus on the carb portions and cycling them around my lifting and cardio days.
DO you think the cycle should be ran like this instead:
20mg Var every day
20mg Clen every day
150 mg of Primo/once a week split into 2 pins /week
for a 10 week cycle

Also, I still haven't gotten my period, my post cycle blood work results revealed that all my levels where within normal ranges.
So can I start the cycle? or should I wait till I get it and then start?

drop the clen you don't need it.. you think you need it but you don't ;-)
the rest of the cycle looks fine

as long as your labs are within normal limits and you don't have any other underlying health issues I don't see why you can't start .. if not having your period is an issue for you, then go the docs first although it would be my guess that they will not look for an underlying cause rather treat the symptom... so waiting for your period to start is going to be a personal decision ...

OK great !!! Is there anything else you would like to add? Any more pointers ?

THANK YOU soon much for being helpful and most importantly straight forward and honest !! I definitely feel that you make a difference in peoples lives by cutting out the BS in this site and getting straight to the point all the time! Without you there would be a lot of destroyed "dreams" (cycles gone completely wrong).. XOXOXO

primo is one of those compounds you have to be patient with .. if you aren't having any negative sides consider extending it to 14-16 weeks

You are welcome and don't hesitate to ask more questions .. it facilitates discussion and learning

You want to gain muscle, lose fat and get stronger all at the same time. Not going to happen. Pick a goal and design your training, diet and choice of cycle compounds around that. You can't do everything at once. Like Grrl said, you will be spinning your wheels and really getting nowhere.

Makwa- thank you I will read this info!!

kodiakGRRL's picture

1st.... as a powerlifter. clen and primo are not really considered for cycles having to do with powerlifting
2nd build a base otherwise you are spinning your wheels
3rd tyring to do both... add muscle/power and loose body fat is like walking in the middle of the street during rush hour
4th the goals are diametrically opposed
5th bodybuilding is concerned with how you look powerlifting is concerned with how strong you are
6th trying to be a body builder and powerlifter at the same time is like walking in the middle of the street during rush hours
7th powerlifting and body building are diamatrically opposed opposites
8th PCT if you have done research and "research" says it isn't needed then what makes you think suppressing your estrogen levels is going to help you when you are coming off adding anabolic and androgenic substances?
9th PCT is NOT necessary so please don''t screw your system up any more by adding ai's and I guess you are considering clomid also??
10th If you are dieting you aren't powerlifting
11th primo one cc once a week for 8 weeks isn't going to really do much considering primo should be run for at least 10 weeks as a cutter
12th I 'll say it again trying to gain strength/mass while cutting body fat isn't going to work well for you
13th dieting to lose body fat while trying to gain strength and mass isn't going to work well
