So you wanna be a Rap superstar live large?!
F*** it lets kick this thing of right. This is a story all about how my life got flipped turned upside...... lol Ace that's a little shot from my 9 fired at you my friend.
Thought I'd switch it up a little, I know most you meatheads (yeah I said it
with a smile) love nothing more than slapping on your leather chaps, sitting down to an episode of sons of anarchy, and afterwards singing the chorus to skynard and miming the rest, or listening to something by those metalic fellows who also enjoy a nice leather outfit from time to time.
However, this is for the old school/new school Original pirate material HIP HOP aka the greatest movement certainly in the music industry for the longest time. Just to be clear (imo) you don't have to rep KRS ONE, Big daddy Kane or the damn S.H.G, from way back in the day as good as they were to know your shit but if it's Good rap, it's good f****** Rap!
If your still paying attention your probably thinking a little background to Monk wouldn't go a miss, which corner he rep, which set he claim. Well, none lol. Most of you have seen the movie Bravehart, round those big hills is where I grew up and at that age I was pumping my tape deck to either something like Coolio, run dmc or Beatnuts lol as you can imagine even in a relatively modem climate at the time the 'Record Shop' didnt have a great selection. Mostly secomd hand or had to order shit in, untill Eminem dropped and suddenly everyone had their Middle finger up and the shelves were full lol and the store workers would even sell the parental advisory CDs (big deal at the time) to me and my friends as young kids which I still genuinely love that fact to this day lol. Primary shool teacher confiscates 'hi my name is' lol I'll never forget the look on their faces and the sheer outcry at The simple fact he said FUCK.
I've waffleed on enough now, down to the meat and potatoes. So what's topic of convo? Top ten Greatest Mc's? best album? Biggie or Pac? etc etc nah nah.
Ive always loved Rappers (legit) go at each other with come back diss records not fake ass shit. If anyone's intrested I wanna hear some of your favourite and greatest diss tracks.
For me it might be an obvious choice to most but Nas was my shit growing up and when "ether" dropped he murdered J. He also went hella hard with "got yourself a g.." And To be fair J's responses over the years were always s*** hot qualty lyrically but for me, Nas killed him.
Benzino v Em was some funny s*** to lol.

Ace VenturaLest we forget, Tupac was only 25 years old when he died. Quite the career for such a young man.
I know, definitely mature beyond his years. I think if he were still around rap and hip hop would be completely different, shit he probably would have been the first black president. I've watched the vibe interview many times. He makes very good points about government.
I don't know. He had some really good stuff but he also had a lot of shit. He was his own worst enemy and was going to self destruct sooner than later regardless.
Steveb2pac was a beautiful ballerina before he was a gangster.
Ace VenturaWhat? No meme? Nobody ever said he was a gangster, fuck face.
StevebReally fatshit? He called himself that in many of his songs.
One of the dumbest songs ever https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5wBTdfAkqGU
Ace VenturaNOBODY IN THIS FORUM, FUCK-HOLE!!!
...that song is okay. Me Against the World is his best album. That's a fact
(https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=UyypOJofZmI)
lmfao you two are something else. when is the wedding cant wait to see the invitation saying fatshit and fuckhole are getting married.
Ace VenturaC'mon, we clearly hate each other. ...besides, does the maid of honor even receive an invitation?
Lmfao nice.
Ace VenturaI agree. He left a heck of a legacy though. I'm pretty sure I've seen every bit of documentary and interview he's done, but I'm gonna have to double check that one.
I don't know how much you know about his relationship with Shock G, but he shows Tupac from a less common perspective in this dope ass jam:

Never heard that one before. Good track. What do you think of the album Eminem produced? Do you think he altered his vocals like people claim?
He's the one that put the satin on your panties
Ace VenturaMy panties? I suppose I do generally wear my ol lady's drawers.
StevebThe version of that song with TI is really good.
Yea, that's the one. Usually listen to it at least once during my workouts
StevebDead Mike
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z8mEdgsg7_w
Ace VenturaThat cinematography is second to none.
Dead mike, so underrated. One of the best lyricist of our time
http://youtu.be/ysLhA7yTuLo
What about Pete rock and c.l. Smooth?
I really like Pete rocks soul survivor
http://youtu.be/yUP3GSFEv18
Ace VenturaI dug some of that album. Has some tight Big Pun that a lot of people probably missed out on. I didn't really get into the album with They Reminisce Over You on it though.
A lot of people just missed out on pun period. He was one of the baddest lyricists ever.
Yeah I liked his mix tapes way better
So I read through a bit and I didn't notice anyone mention prince Paul. Prince among theives was great and started beef between everlast and eminem
http://youtu.be/c9qwYQ3BDE4
Gravediggaz, handsome boy modeling school... Prince Paul has had his hand in more hip hop than most people realize. He might of even produced for the early de la soul stuff but I can't remember for sure
Ace VenturaDid Prince Paul come out of 3rd Bass, or am I thinking of someone else?
I think he was souly a producer early on so I would guess not but I really have no idea
Edit: oh shit, I just googled him and he came out of stetsosonic. No mention of 3 bass- that gets the gas face
Ace VenturaWell FUCK 3rd Bass then. They can take the cactus right up their asses. ....I'm gonna go figure out who I was thinking of...
Boom Selektah:
Okay, he's listed here in associated acts:
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/3rd_Bass
Maybe he did some work on The Cactus Revisited. That's the main tape of theirs that I listened to.
Do you think Pete nice and Greg nice are brothers?
Ace VenturaWell, I'd need a little more info. Does Prime Minister Pete Nice ever rhyme quick?
You know part of me thinks nas' first appearance was in a 3rd bass video
Ace VenturaHmmmmm....that could take some work to dig up. What was Nas' first song? I believe it was on a soundtrack, when he was still going by Nasty Nas.
Here is something but I swear he was in a 3rd bass video
http://m.imdb.com/name/nm0621576/bio
Ace VenturaThat's cool. I had MC Serch's first album too. I forgot he was on that shit. Back To The Grill Again. History is neato
That's the one bro. Nas is in that video. I don't think he says a word
Ace VenturaOh crazy. I can't believe how long ago that was.
De la soul's three feet high and rising is probably one one the most ground breaking albums ever in hip hop. Imo it really ushered in the age of true hip hop as opposed to rap.
On a side note slick rick and dougy fresh were the shit(back when Rick had both eyes). Who could forget about rakim ?
Did someone hack this big hillbilly's account?
Ace VenturaYou think your account may have been hacked??
No no, it's my penis that's been hacked. I was worried about bigJ's account. But thanks for your concern.
Ace VenturaFor rizzealz tho. Hillbilly....coming from the guy with that 'bama logo for an avi. Lol
what about guru and premier?
Squeeze the juice out, of all the suckas with power
and poor some back out, so as to water the flowers
This world is ours, that's why the demons are
Leary
It's our inheritance, this is my Robin Hood theory
Ace VenturaOh, Gifted Unlimited Rhymes Universal? But of course!
Nice, I liked jazzmataz too
I've got an image of Monk dressed as Flava Flav with a cap with "mod" on it stuck in my head......
Today's rap music has really withdrew from the original Hip Hop movement in regards to the lyrics. I feel as if all relevant rap music is all lies. The lyricists are no less never popular to this new generation. Minus a few of course; Jay Z, Nas, Eminem, ect...
But these new artists to me are corny. Just rhyming words over a popular beat and not telling a justified story of truth. People love music they can relate to, and I can no longer relate to the new rap music I hear on the radio. Some tunes may be catchy and witty, but there's a lot of garbage that some how seemed to make it to the top of the charts. Baffling. Lmao.
Ace VenturaMainstream rap is clearly dumbed down. If you're interested in new stuff, what the heck are ya doin listening to the radio?!?! But you can find plenty of it on satellite.
I totaly agree, whatever happened to story lines like the ones Easy E put out:
"There was the biggest titties that a nigga ever saw
I said: "Damn", then the air got thinner
Only thought in my mind, was goin' up in her
The suspense was makin' me sick
She took her panties down and the bitch had a dick!
I said: "Damn", dropped the gat from my hand
(What I thought was a bitch, was nothing but a man)
Put the gat to his legs, all the way up his skirt
because this is one faggot that I had to hurt"
That is shit we can all relate to. Who hasn't robbed a bank and noticed a captive large breasted women that need to be considered a door prize to such a harrowing job?
Who hasn't tried to take advantage of the situation only to find that the woman in question had a Penis?
Shit bros. We have all been there.
LMAO! Every fucking time!
