Steroids and the contraceptive pill?

Hi ladies and gents,
Just a quick question. Does taking a course of steroids effect the female contraceptive pills ability to work?

the pill will work just fine ... if she is a "serious" big time competitor you will find that there is a neglible interation where the progestin does interefere with and supress anabolic steroids.

Make an informed desicion after reading this link bro...... something we have never researched much due to suze stepping past the menopause 10yrs ago.
I dunno. I'm a little concerned about taking contraception and cycle advice from the male Catholic preacher (no offense to Catholics!)who wrote that article.
Everything I've had to read about this stuff has been kinda limited to research in transgender studies where hormone replacement can mess with other forms of synthetic progesterone.

It's about burn victims, but they do have bits on some chemical changes in how var changes estrogen levels. There's some other cool stuff to read out there on it - I guess for me personally I've never noticed any problems with two (health wise)... I mean I've also never gotten pregnant so I guess that's good.
I'm pretty careful about checking with my doctor before and after cycles, but I guess the Catholic guy's article does make a good point - kinda hard to tell what the long term problems will be from using the two and studies are pretty limited to medical research on younger girls who likely aren't using BC yet.

The pill is a steroid in itself as it suppresses hormones; but its a member of the androgenic not anabolic. Do a search about hormone suppression and the pill. They do not play well with anabolic.
