Swelling and pain at injection site.

Alot of my friends always come to me for advice and I just couldn't figure this one out. It is one of my older friends who is on TRT, he just started a brand, he never tried before to start his cruise again.
This is what he told me, when I asked him to explain the situation:
It was Test E dosed at 400mg/ml and contains 3%BA. He always wipes the top of the vial and wipes the injection area down 2 times. He used an 25g needle to inject one half cc (200mg) into his left delt. Injection went smooth. He didn't feel any pain at all until the next day. The day after the injection his delt hurt really bad and had swollen. He explained the pain to be like an really extreme PiP. It has now gone 2 more days and his pain is still the same and swelling hasn't gone up or down. The pain hasn't spread to other areas, he only feels discomfort when touching the medial deltoid, where he injected.
Now there is no redness, he has no fever of any kind, the area does not feel hot to the touch or spongy when you touch it. It feels a little bit harder then it should be, like it is flexed a little bit.
I have no idea what to say to him, besides take some ibuprofen to ease the pain. I have been searching around and as of right now, I think he is sensitive to the BA?
I just had to get some input from you guys and any help is appreciated, thanks!

this happened to me exactly. i injected in the top part of the deltoid and had a bubble there for about a week and a half. its not infected dont worry. its like a water bubble. tell your friend to stop injecting in that spot. inject below it . what i mean is. if you let your arm go limp just underneath the deltoid will be a small area. thats a good spot to inject. furthermore. lower the testosterone dosage.
how long has he been on test e.. is this his 1st cycle??
New brands have different concentrations. When I switch brands and depending on what they use for oils I get the same issue. It goes away after the next injection. Most of the time I get swelling is when using EO. I switched to an oil that does not use EO and the only PIP I get is when it crystallizes and even then its pretty minimum. He will get used to it believe me.
He is going to try again. So we will see. This could be a possibility. He haven't used anything dosed this high. Thanks for your input
High dose gear is not for virgins. It will always leave pain and suffering. Anything over 400mg cause pain because the oils get absorbed and leave the medicine behind to crystallize. If he is going to use higher mg tell him to suck it up as it will never go away but it will get easier to manage. I am also on TRT and anything over 400mg I cant either walk or sit or move my arm depending on where I pin.
Dude, Idk if this applies to his situation... But I once pinned slightly too low at my delt (I don't think it went into the muscle deeply enough), and my shit swelled up for like 5 days. Pain sounded a lot like your guy's. He may have just mis-pinned. Then, again. Maybe not. But see if the swelling just kinda goes away in a few days. It did for me. And it was pretty significant. I had to skip shoulders and chest that week. Other than that, I was fine.

I will tell him this. He used a 1" needle, but maybe he hit to low. He is going to try again on Monday with same needle length. I will update if it happens again and if it does he will try a longer needle length.

Agreed. It is either this, or the length of syringe needle should be a little longer.
sounds like virgin muscles... has he pinned delts before? Try heating the oil next time, taking a warm shower to loosen up. Usually you should only pin 1cc in delts. sometimes when I do 2cc my arm swells a bit for a day or two but nothing painful
He has been on trt for 2 years, forgot to mention that, so it is not virgin muscle. He injected 1/2 cc
