carb- backloading?

ad

Seems to be a cross between Atkins at first then carb cycling, except you get to eat bad carbs. Anyones thoughts or experiance with this.?

I found the point Jason Blaha brought up very interesting, he said that if on anabolics you might loose more fat than lean mass when being in calorie deficit (before the backloading), and when you eat most of your cals you may build more muscle than fat mass.

Is his plan geared more for people who workout in the evening cause I workout in the morning. and eating carbs the rest the day seems bad for weightloss.

Alright so no carbs regardless til after working out and only the amount of carbs per pound of body weight then stop carbs til next workout. And on non workout days low carbs say 50 to 70.

My issue with this Book is that its made clearly to make Money. That aside, when you read it you realise that the creator has over egged some studies to server his point and totally misunderstood or removed some aspects which contradict the his view point,

Is the diet something new? No. Is there a better way to do what he is trying to say, IMHO, yes!

Worth a read? I would suspect so. Are you going to learn something totally new? No.

But for those that have not done carb manipulation [and yes you are missing something big!] there are better books to read.

I was looking for a post I made elsewhere but cant find it but here is the gist of what I agree with once you read the book

That was a good read bro. I was sceptical and wanted to see if anyone esle has used his program here. I've had great results on Atkins and decent on carb cycling but if his theory worked man would I be eating cake right now. I might try it and see and worse case scenario end up on Atkins to get the fat off.
